The welcome was so warm and helpful Provided helpful suggestions for parking nearby Gorgeous old building with lots of period features. Has a lift for those not able to take the stairs We took our dog who was made welcome. The breakfast on the terrace looked lovely but we decided not to have any. Vezelay is a very special place and this hotel is certainly up to match what you may expect from this place. Situated very close to the famous cathedral, the hotel Les Glycines is located in an old renovated house and has a character that you will not find easily in any other hotel. It is small, clean, with a cordial reception and immediately you will find yourself immersed in a special atmosphere. I have spent here a few days already three times at this place and this will be certainly my hotel of choice for my next visit to Vezelay. Additionally, do not miss to book dinner in their related restaurant at Les Terrasses. You will not be disappointed!

The hotel is very comfortable and the room is perfect for a small village hotel. Near the Basilica, a very good restaurant nearby, has a fresh and quality breakfast, people are nice and give you great tips for enjoying the village and the area. We loved it!

Wonderful ambience. 100 yards to the portals of the basilica. Helpful and friendly staff. As the reservation instructions say, you really do legally drive up the wrong way on a one-way street, offload on the sidewalk in front of the hotel, and then move on to the visitor parking on the far side of the basilica (behind the apse and down the road a little). If the traffic bollard is up, blocking the road near the hotel, go in - they can activate it from the hotel. In October, there are plenty of available spaces in visitor parking. It's much closer than parking at the bottom of the Vezelay mount. 12 euro for a week. Be sure to get a ticket from the machine and put it in your windshield.

We had a delightful 4-day stay at Les Glycines. The hotel has a very charming atmosphere that feels authentically French and is located at the most privileged spot of the village, only a few steps away from the Vézelay Cathedral. The staff was amiable and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. The room was excellent with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. The breakfast offering was fresh, varied and enjoyable on the patio under the wisteria. The hotel location is excellent and very near to Vezelay Abbey, restaurant, galleries and shops.

It was a delight to stay at Les Glycines in Vezelay. Greeted by Liberte, we were welcomed and helped in both French and English. She was very patient and friendly, answering numerous questions. The staff as a whole are friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable, clean and outfitted with amenities. We were located close the the Basilica which was our primary reason for coming to Vezelay although we enjoyed a meal at SY La Terasse, breakfast at Les Glycines and pastries from a local patisserie. Would highly recommend..

This is a charming boutique hotel with a friendly and helpful concierge and hotel staff. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast for a fee that is well worth it. The room was clean and quiet and had high quality bath products. The outdoor patio is lovely for enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the chiming of the bells of the cathedral nearby. The hotel is in the heart of Vezelay, a small hilltop village, and a short walk to restaurants and shops.

Very nice hotel near the cathedral. Beautiful room, nice hosts. Breakfast 17 euro a bit overpriced and in view of the room rate should have been included. There are no alternatives for breakfast in the neighbourhood so why not do so. Vezelay is a nice village but in say 2 hours to be seen. Would not stay there again as centre for visiting Burgundy.

This little hotel is a gem! Park behind the church so you don't have to walk up the hill. The village was one of my favorites in France. Take a walk behind the church for beautiful views. The rooms are full of charm and comfort and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner even may a dinner reservation for us upon her recommendation and it was great! Breakfast was delicious! Children welcome.
