We spent two very nice evenings in this hotel. Pluses: Yveline was very helpful and nice, her English was a little limited but did not create any problems. Her very friendly cat wandered the premises and popped in and out of the rooms. Breakfast pastries and jams were excellent, plenty of coffee, cereal etc. No meats or cheeses. This was...

Once inside the gates we were surprised at our surroundings- a beautiful and colorful garden with an outdoor setting- our breakfast venue! Evelyn was a gracious and welcoming hostess, giving us a choice of rooms. We chose the downstairs room closest to the garden- spacious enough, modern with french doors opening to the garden. There was a downstairs lounge area...

We were welcomed through the big red doors to this lovely establishment in Amboise after walking 22km from Chenanceau. To be greeted with a bath and a cup of tea by Yveline was wonderful after a full day of walking. Our room was upstairs and very comfortable with ensuite with bath. A large room with a wonderful bed and beautiful...

Yveline &?Patric were extremely hospitable. The room had old world charm bit with modern comforts. We were upstairs with a great view of the courtyard/garden. We came by train, got around by foot & rented bicycles for our trip to Chenonceaux. The breakfast room was lovely & the food delicious--home made compotes with all the delicious breads, croissants etc. A...

This B&B was a little difficult to find, and we needed help backing the rental car into the gated courtyard, but it was well worth it! Yveline was the ultimate hostess, and catered to our every need. We stayed in a quad (family) room upstairs, with a double bed and two twin beds. The room was large and the beds...

My husband and I stayed at La Grange in May, 2014. What a delightful experience! It is very well located for sightseeing in and around Amboise. Our ground floor room was located just off a lovely garden in a private courtyard. We woke each morning to the cheery sound of birdsong. A large and comfortable common room was right next...

Yveline and Patrick are exceptional hosts and made our stay a memorable one! We started our vacation in Amboise and stayed in La Grange for 4 nights. It is very easy to make the booking via email. We met some other guests during our stay here with Rick Steves guidebook and that is how we found this place ourselves. It...

Great location in Amboise but a little difficult to find. Madame Savin helped my husband park our rental car in their gated driveway. She and Patrick were delightful and kind. Breakfast was delicious in the company of others. Our upstairs room was very comfortable and quiet even thought it's in the center of the city. We set up our own...

This place is a little hard to find, but well worth it. Eveline, the hostess, was a delight. The accomodations were excellent, and the breakfast was great. She had great suggestions for dinner. Would stay again.

We stayed in the big, beautiful, family-size room. The space is practical and comfortable, but designed with style and intelligence. This room has an extra-large bed, along with two single beds with big cushions that can double as sofas.. Yveline and Patrick are charming and very helpful. Breakfast is amazing, homemade jams and compotes, tea, coffee, croissants, bread, yogurt, and...

“Our ground floor room was located just off a private courtyard with a beautiful garden. Some friends we met while there said their upstairs room overlooking the garden was furnished with beautiful furniture. We would probably request the upstairs room next time for that reason.”

“Location: on the RIGHT hand corner of a one-way street; gated if you are driving. Probably best to call her in advance so she can help you with parking instructions.”
