My husband and I and another couple and their son, their mother and our 2 dogs stayed here for 1 week sat.to sat. We were very comfortable here, very near a grocery store and restaurants. They have a inside pool which is fantastic when the weather is bad, but it is very small, and when you are there in the... More

This development is at the epicentre of a whole group of chateaux (Ussé, Azay, Chinon, Chemonceaux, Villandray), all within easy driving distance. During our stay, Les Jardins were getting ready for the summer season, with new patio furniture delivered, plus 32" TV arrived to replace the tiny TVs. Accomodation is above basic but not overlarge (I hate to stay in... More

Les Jardins Renaissance is a prestige site with great accommodation and facilities. The houses are very well maintained, well equipped, and comfortable. The gated estate is safe, friendly, open and most of all generally quiet. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Given fresh linen and towels upon arrival, you are left to enjoy a very private stay. There is a... More

"This is not a four star hotel, it's a residence", said the receptionist. Ok , we understand, but it was hard to find the four stars... It's a small space, even there are 6 persons in an unit of 8. The bathrooms and the wc rooms are too small, maybe for the children ..... The personal was a little irritated... More

Do not be fooled by the 4 star logo. "La maisonette" is a coop, with small rooms and even smaller baths. Rusty and dusty appliances. If you do not have any expectations, you do not mind being crowded, then this is the place for you. However, try a decent hotel instead.

We enjoyed our week in Azay-Le-Rideau, very convenient for visiting a large selection of castles, namely Azay, Villandry and its formal gardens, Islette (practically in Azay, great for picnics), Langeais, Chinon. An hour's drive away approximately are many more and we visited Chambord, Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont and its garden exhibition (better gardens in my view than Villandry). As accommodation, you... Stayed for 3 weeks in March/April 2013 This site is sold as a Lagrange Prestige but it is lower in quality and services than a simple Lagrange that we visited afterwards. The "houses" are well laid out with a bathroom (full bath) and separate toilet. The bedroom is small and the wardrobe half filled already with the extra bedding for... More

We chose this location as it was fairly central to our travels, based out in the rural countryside rather than in a large city or town, and kept costs down so that we could maximise our spend on other activities we had planned across ten days in Loire Valley (including Le Mans 24hrs). We booked a package deal through Brittany... More

Stayed here at Easter last year. Used a 3 bedroom for my family of 5. Friends also travelled and used the 2 bed apartment. Apartment has everything required although only french TV on the box. Beds excellent and rooms spotless. We got good value the first week of Easter. It would have been more expensive the next week. The pool... More
