I chose this hotel for a place close to the railway station. It turned out to be utterly charming. Miriam, originally from Spain, made me so welcome in 3 languages! We ended up having conversations mostly in Franglais. She took pity on me, an older woman with a heavy bag, and gave me a beautiful room on the 1st floor...

This is a well-run hotel, perhaps slightly impersonal at the end of the season (we arrived on 27th November 2016) and that we could understand; but nothing was neglected and we were told there would only be one eating-place open - the Grill in the square, and this unwelcome advice proved right - but what a good meal we ended...

Quaint little hotel in a great location. Manager was able to accommodate us at the last minute when our accommodation fell through elsewhere. Manager recommended some local restaurants and spoke good English. Friendly staff, clean rooms and secure parking. Would stay again.

We arrived late in the evening and had not planned to stay overnight in Azalay le Rideau. It was a nice surprise to find a neat room with a well equipped bathroom and separate toilet. Room was on second floor. There is no elevator. We spent a very quiet night. Room was on the back side. The service was very...

Anyone who travelled to France a lot 20 or 30 years ago will recognise the hotel immediately. It is an updated version of the then-typical regional hotel, before Ibis, Campanile and the others sprang up everywhere. The heavy wallpaper covering everything, including the wardrobe doors, is gone. It's lighter and brighter, and perfectly comfortable. The greatest attribute is the very...

WI FI is hit and miss as it drops out regularly. Could not log my laptop in but mobile was OK. The man at reception blows hot and cold more hot when your paying. The rooms are small and a fan is provided but it's still warm. Breakfast is good and all you can eat is always a challenge. Location...

Mathieu who is in charge of the day to day running of this hotel, is very helpful and efficient. Our room was very clean and fresh-looking.Although not large, it had all we needed and the beds were very comfortable and the shower produced a good head of water. The hotel does not offer meals apart from breakfast. However the hotel can...

A nice hotel, well situated, with good parking facilities. The owner is extremely helpful and speaks excellent English. The hotel has a small bar but only provides a very good continental breakfast. Having said that there was no shortage of excellent dining opportunities within easy walking distance which the owner recommended. We would definitely stay there again. Very good value...

A very comfortable room with a good bed, simple cont. breakfast good parking either at front of Hotel or substantial secure parking to rear, important as parking is at a premium in this town, the owner is very helpful and speaks excellent English.
