A beautiful, clean hotel in a lovely location, and great breakfast. We stayed at the hotel last June and my son left his Teddy Bear behind. Marie Laure was kind enough to send him along to our address in England. That was so kind!

What a lovely hotel and what a lovely little town. The hotel was comfortable, quite elegant, clean and with a nice atmosphere. Our welcome was friendly and the staff were so helpful. Indeed the only criticism that we had was that the Hotel was not easy to find. It is on a pedestrian street going down to the local Château....

Comfortable room, upgraded shower, clean, with just enough souvenirs of the previous incarnation of the building we stayed in - a former school - to take you back to the good old school days. At least, the souvenirs seem to represent the good days - books, wooden desks, official notices, report cards. Makes you want to read Le Grand Meaulnes...

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a long trip. Immaculate hotel and a lovely breakfast, we were well looked after and made very welcome along with our dog who was fussed over suitably!! The owner was always on hand to help us with any little detail.

We arrived in Azay-Le-Rideau in the early evening, having driven down from the UK. It took us a few minutes to locate the Hotel Biencourt, leaving the car in the (free) town square car park, and finding it tucked away down a pedestrianised street. Warm and helpful welcome from the proprietor, who gave us a map of the area and...

The hotel is in an excellent position with free parking in the square not too far away. The owner, who spoke English, was very helpful. The rooms were very well appointed with lovely toiletries. Everything in the town was within very easy walking distance. Just two negative points - our room was on the second floor and was a bit...

On a quiet, most charming cobblestone street. Silvi at front desk was very gracious. Room was well maintained. Appreciated that room had a lot of electrical outlets to charge phones, tablets, etc and had extra towels and pillows.
