We've stayed here before, and this year we visited again, twice - on our way down to the south of France, and then on the way back. The family suite, as before, was perfect - lots of room for a family plus dogs, and the breakfast was wonderful (fruit, yogurt, breads and home made jams, with the best coffee we... More

Having driven through Chartres at Easter, on our way back to Calais, and having seen the adverts for the Lumieres, we decided to book an overnight stay on the way down for our Summer holiday. We were not disappointed! Chartres is beautiful, the lights are spectacular and the Manoury City Break B&B was fantastic. From the very warm welcome, to... More

We stayed one night en route to the south, and had the spacious and quite quirky Tintin room on the top floor, with a shared kitchenette with microwave just outside the room (a mini-fridge would have been useful to keep milk cool). Continental breakfast was served in the elegant salon overlooking the terrace and gardens- lovely fresh french bread and... More

Maunoury City Break is a perfect base to discover the lovely city of Chartres and its amazing cathedral. We booked the suite and the Tintin room with a party of 4 for 2 nights. Maunoury happens to be an excellent high-end B&B. Rooms have character and provide you with everything you need. High standard of hospitality. Reception by Anne, the... More

We stayed in one of the apartments a few doors down from the main hotel for three nights. A plus was the on-site parking as well as a great location in terms of an easy walk to the main plaza area for shopping, eating, and visiting the cathedral. Don't miss the light show each evening. It's fantastic. Our unit included... More

We stayed one night in the Suite with our 3 year old and 9 month old. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The little kitchen area was well stocked with cutlery, plates, washing up liquid, microwave etc which was really useful for making up bottles. The owners were really friendly and happy to speak English or French. The breakfast was... More

We stayed just one night here, and immediately wished we were staying longer! The suite (we are family of four) was perfect, everything you could need for a short break, including a very well equipped kitchenette. The rooms were warm and welcoming, comfortable and really spacious, as was Anne who greeted us with a smile and all the info we'd... More

We stayed in the suite for one night on our way down to the Loire Valley, and found it a delightful place to stay. It's a few minutes' walk into the town centre with the Cathedral, the market and all the restaurants, and we had no trouble parking right outside. The suite itself was lovely, with everything we needed -... More
