Roseraie hotel is really close to the Chateau. It's a good place to stay for a quiet night before the visit, within walking distance and the hotel's offers you the possibility of leaving the car in the hotel car park.

We had two rooms in this lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was easy at the hotel car park. Our rooms were a good size. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was fine with the usual fare. Dinner was expensive but was nice. Easy walk to Chateaux Chenonceaux. Lovely village atmosphere.

This is a charming hotel on the main street of Chenonceaux, with the Chateau de Chenonceau a short walk away. The main part of the hotel is very quaint, with interesting windows and a little spire, but we were taken to the back and walked clear to the far end of the hotel where our room was the last one...

The great thing about staying in Chenonceaux is that you can visit the Château late in the day when the crowds really thin out. This hotel, with its own car park, is just a 10-minute stroll away and we enjoyed a wonderful late-afternoon visit to this magnificent building and its grounds. The hotel rooms are somewhat old-fashioned but very comfortable...

Large spacious comfortable room which more than served our requirements. Loved the small pool which at the time we visited was completely empty of fellow swimmers. Ideal location to visit the chateaux literally a 100mt walk to the entrance. Helpful friendly lady owner who speaks perfect English. The evening meal taken on the outdoor terrace area was excellent quality and...

I booked a room, quite some time in advance, based upon the description of the hotel and the photographs on their website. It was only after our stay that I looked back at the room photographs on their website and realised the room into which we had been put was far, far less attractive and comfortable; the ones in the...

We had a lovely stay in August. Our room was small, but I had chosen the lowest-priced available room. Having spent 6 unairconditioned nights in Normandy and Bretagne, the AC was most welcome. We had full menu meals both days, which were delightful, and at much less than the cost of comparable meals across the street at the Michelin-starred restaurant...

We spent 3 nights here and were happy with our room a large area with a lounge, arm chairs and a small desk and coffee table. The hotel needs a revamp as its a bit sad but comfy and in a great position within walking distance to the superb chateau. A quiet swimming pool and area was a welcomed break...

Lovely hotel and perfect position for visiting the chateau. Friendly staff and good sized room. Downsides - dinner only available on the terrace as a result we were surrounded by smokers - not pleasant. One of us is veggie and we contacted the hotel beforehand to advise no meat or fish. The response was that they had veggie options on...

We paid quite a lot to stay in a decent sized family room - approx 250 euros I think, The room was OK, split into two - but the layout meant that the bathroom was through our room so kids had to come through or room to access it. The hotel is a bit tired, but OK. reception staff were...
