We stayed here for one night whilst travelling through France. Hotel was in a great location right in the city centre. There is no on site parking but plenty of public car parks nearby. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon so had to check ourselves in but this was very straightforward. Room was clean and tidy and staff very friendly.... More

The title says it all. Very handy for station and all amenities. Really helpful guy on reception and a unique room - modelled on Lawrence of Arabia! The shutters and double glazed windows ensured a good night's sleep - you couldn't ask for more. Reasonably priced secure underground parking nearby (we paid 10 euros a night), but it was much... The great location near the SNCF train station and a load of restaurants and historic sites is just the beginning. The owner, Pascal, has created a welcoming, quirky, and comfortable place to stay. The rooms were charmingly decorated and the wonderful breakfast was matched by Pascal's hilarious hosting. My friends and I had a great stay--highly recommended!

We stayed only one night in Orléans, but it was memorable, because it was such an enjoyable stay. First of all, the hotel is near the train and bus stations, so very conveniently located! It is also near a mall that caters to anything you might require. The manager, Pascal, made us feel right at home, he was friendly, efficient,... More

We enjoyed our night here. Its is in a central location, with shops and restaurants all around. The SNCF is across the road, so handy to anyone going to Orleans by train. The hotel is very eccentric, with each room having a different theme. Next time we might try the TinTin room. A nice novelty! We had forgotten to order... More

If I can find one when I visit a town, I always opt for a place with a bit of character, and the Hotel Archange certainly has that; from the imaginative decor in the foyer and in the rooms, to the cheerful, attentive manager - I was made to feel right at home, he even let my borrow his guitar!... This is the worst hotel I've ever seen. The reviews on booking.com are totally false, it's overpriced and the owner is very rude. I have booked one night to rest from a long drive and I have specifically asked for a thoroughly clean and quite room. I got the exact opposite, we were not able to stay there after seeing... More

We arrived late at this hotel after driving from Holland en route to the Dordogne needing a good rest before continuing in the morning but only stayed for 5 minutes. Our room at the top of the building must have been 40+ degrees with the window open. There was no A/C or fan to allow for cooling and so we... More

My wife and I stopped here for one night on the way back from Toulouse. All the rooms have a different theme, we had the newspaper room, featuring old clippings and headlines on the wallpaper and duvet, not to mention the old style typewriter on the ceiling. The room was comfortable albeit a little small. The en-suite had a bath... More

We stayed for two nights in May 2014. We got the TinTin room and loved it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Helped us pack our bicycles up the stairs to the storage room. Decent breakfast and a wonderful little room. I recommend it for people who want to stay in real french hotels and not boring bland American... More
