The 2 of us booked in for 3 nights. Our room was very good and the breakfast was excellent - if French! We'd particularly recommend the homemade yogurt. We were able to park in the grounds, but it was a tight squeeze through the gate. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The only drawback is the distance into downtown Tours....

We were visiting Tours and looking for a spot. We lucked out with this one. An old but well renovated B&b run by a friendly couple. 2 min drive from downtown Tours but on the other side of the river. Quick access to everything but a quiet night sleep. Good showers and great breakfast. I would recommend it

Absolutely loved our visit. Wonderful owners that took time to tell us where to go, and very knowledgeable about the local wines and wine making. The family suite is perfect for little kids. Even if our kids were bigger, they loved the kids room. Breakfast was wonderful, with homemade jams and yogurt. Highly recommend a stay at La Héraudière.

Our stay here was booked through Velo Voyageur, a biking tour. Our host Dominique was outstanding with his helpfulness & friendliness, eg, we arrived early and he came and picked up our luggage from the train station. The property, rooms were very nice and clean. Would definitely come back to stay here again.

Very nice guest house: close to the city, calm, tidy, with big garden, very helpful and welcoming owners, free wi-fi, free parking. Breakfast good enough to start a day (croissants, bred, jam, home made youghurt, juice, coffee/tea).

We arrived early at 4 pm ,due too a long days travelling and my wife's knee injury. She was unable to walk far. We were obviously unwelcome ,but told we could wait in the lounge until the floor dried in the room. We both needed the toilet, but was told the toilet was a private family toilet. The husband came to...

We realy enjoyed staying at Le Heraudiere. Ester and Dominique are great hosts, taking care that you have all information you need to enjoy Tours and the Loire Valey. We stayed in a bigger room (so that we could be together with our 2 kids) with a independent entrance. Varey nice, silent and great beds! Breakfast is indeed very tempting...

The hosts are fabulous people, nothing is too much trouble. A short tram ride and walk from the CBD of Tour and easy because our host picked up our bags while we went on tour of the chateau's. Our family room was very comfortable; best bed I'd slept in. Breakfast was traditional french with homemade jams that were very morish....

We recently stayed 3 nights, the hosts were very attentive and informative about the local sights. The room was on the first floor and very well appointed. Breakfast was traditional french and of a high standard. I especially appreciated the lg pot of fresh tea. The location is tricky to find...a GPS is essential. Getting into town is either by...

This is a lovely, friendly B&B. A short bus ride or walk from the centre, ensures a very quiet night of rest in a beautiful, comfortable old house surrounded by a beautiful garden. Breakfasts are delicious and the hosts are friendly and gracious, but not at all invasive. I could not recommend this B&B enough. Especially for families. Although I...
