An excellent quite location close to Tours, France. The staff and service was very good; the bedroom was spacious and comfortable; the superb evening meal was delicious and served with excellent wines.

Col. Edward Parks and Sharon Parks picked us all up at the train station. Their home was large enough for 10 of my family members with room to spare. The first evening they served dinner and gave us a presentation about the Normandy invasion. The following day we toured the US landing areas and cemetery. The third day we visited...

Lovely chateau that overlooks the town of Tours. Restaurant was excellent and reasonable. Rooms are outdated but for the most part clean. We had mold in our shower. And there is no internet in the pavallian building (where our rooms were). If you want restaurants or shops in walking distance, stay in the town of Tours; this is a residential...

Stayed here on our motorcycle trip around France. Stunning looking hotel with great grounds around it, very scenic and relaxing. Rooms were spacious and very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and would come back here again just to sample the menu again. All in all a big thumbs up and highly recommend.

We were looking for a stopover on our trip North to the ferry and this hotel is very convenient being just off the motorway at Tours. Our room was totally lovely - beautifully decorated and huge with a large bed and windows overlooking the grounds. A great place to relax. Staff were a bit off hand but did help with...

We arrived for a one night stay on our return trip to the UK from the South of France . A convenient location but although the grounds were pretty , constant road noise could be heard from the nearby city. We had a room in the main building. The first room we were given overlooked the roof of the restaurant...

We have stayed at this hotel on three separate nights when travelling to other parts of France and have always found it a calm and restful place to relax after a long drive. The grounds are lovely and the main building is full of character. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant provides food and wine of excellent quality. The...

The setting, lawns and gardens are lovely. The service was charming and the rooms an intriguing mix of faded classical opulence with a more recent refit. The croissants and cheese at breakfast were good.

We stayed here one night because we wanted to be relatively near the TGV in St Pierre des Corps, outside of Tours, for our early morning train to CDG (it was great to be able to do this and not have to spend a night near the Paris airport!). We booked only a few weeks ahead, and they were very...
