We found that they provided very good food for the price and comfortable accommodation. Some things would have marked them down if they wanted to be a guide Michelin restaurant but it was good cooking - very glad to see locals and travelling business people. They were happy for us to be there with our dogs for two nights.

Our rooms were average to good. The bottom sheet on our bed was to small and kept coming out from under the mattress, and there was an unpleasant stain on the sheet. As usual, the bath was designed for the vertically challenged, and was not ideal for the older person to get out of! When deciding where to eat in...

We stayed in this hotel two nights on a recent trip. The pros: clean room with tons of charm, comfortable bed, walking distance to the gardens and château. The cons: wifi access was unreliable, noise from street is bothersome if you don't sleep with earplugs, hotel staff is not very amiable. Indifferent, but good to know: access to hotel is...

I stayed with my family and was disappointed. The room was fine but the service surly and unfriendly and the food pretty poor. An expensive place. But choice in Villandry is very limited and this didn't help. I'd avoid staying in Villandry in the future and especially in this place.

Booked this Logis for an overnight stop on the way back to Calais. Arrived early and the room wasn't ready. No problem. A warm welcome, shown the room and invited to return a little later. The room was big enough and overlooked a side street. Quiet at night in spite of the nearby church with a bell!! Bathroom has been...

A charming hotel in a small village. We spent 2 nights in this hotel on our way from Spain back to England. It is just about 100m from the Chateau and Gardens of Villandry and an excellent base for visiting other Chateaux and wineries in the Loire valley. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed in a very nice...

We visited this hotel as part of our cycling tour along the Loire. Villandry is a very small place on a main road. The obvious main, and only attraction is the beautiful Château with spectacular gardens. Other than that there is very little here. We arrived at the hotel mid afternoon to find nobody on reception. My husband ventured into...

Lovely location, parking easy but that's where the good things end. The small dark bedroom had a carpet on the floor which must have gone down when the hotel was built, I never took my flip flops off, the bathroom was so small and very claustrophobic. We booked half board my husbands starter that evening was one scallop cut in...

Unclear quite where the entrance to this well situated hotel was but we found someone to check us in without too much fuss and were led to a large quadruple room for our family to stay in for just the one night on our way down deeper into France. The room was split into two areas, one with a large...
