We arrived in Ajaccio by ferry from Cagliari around 21:30. When exiting the ferry terminal, turn right and walk about 200 meters. The advantage here is its proximity to the terminal, so you do not have to find a taxi or walk around in the dark to find your accommodation. Located right on the harbour front. The barman/checkin clerk was friendly, with a pseudo-linguistic sense of humour. Checkin was quick. Room was basic, but clean with sufficient light. Bathroom small for North American standards, but good size for Europe. Hot water and good water pressure. Walls are a bit on the thin side. The breakfast buffet (extra charge) had very fresh buns and Danish, lots of fruit, chocolate milk, salami, cheese, yoghourt and good coffee (with warm milk of course). Very good option depending when you arrive and what you want to do. Recommended.…
For us, the location within a short walk of both the ferry port and the railway station was ideal. Our room - when we found it at the end of a dark corridor - was comfortable enough, but the air-conditioning (for which we were duly grateful) - was rather noisy Early breakfast was quite adequate. So fine for one night - especially as the price was good.
We booked a room for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) for our final night on Corsica, mainly so we didn’t have to get up ridiculously early for our flight in the morning. We were given a suite with sea view - this turned out to be palatial! 3 bedrooms, including 2 doubles and a single, plus a double sofa bed, and kitchenette to boot. Basic furnishings but very clean and tidy, and breakfast was tasty too, with lots of fresh bread and pastries as well as cereal and pancakes for the kids. Staff were all really helpful as well - would recommend to anyone needing a budget but comfortable place to stay in Ajaccio
Good budget hotel for the night. Nothing special about it, our bedroom was quite small, but since we arrived at 2 am and left in the morning, there is nothing to complain about. We appreciated the late-night check-in availability. Breakfast was not bad at all. Parking was very close.
We got the brand new family suite on 6th floor for 148 euros. The suite was massive with two double beds and one single bed, all brand new. A whole kitchen, large balcony. Definitely worth the price. With aircon and everything is brand new in a ver old run down building.
