After a long day of driving, we looked for a reasonably priced hotel and found this hotel close to the train station. The people at the reception directed me to their secure parkade, a good sign. The hotel, at least the part where we were staying, must recently have been remodeled because everything in the room was modern and up... More

Very nice hotel just across the river from the old town (although a bit tricky to find the best way to reach city centre on foot, look for an unmarked set of stairs). Got a large and comfortable room for a reasonable price compared to just about anywhere else in France. Free parking.

Recommended by LP - it seems that the old part was the first spa hotel in town. However, most(all?) of the hotel is simple, sleek, with stylish rooms and v. good value. We had a superior(?) room - with the tea & coffee - with a view (just) of the Citadel. Breakfast is good - we were there during the... More

A well-appointed,modern and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff, good parking facilities and an excellent breakfast buffet. Close to the railway station and a tram stop, but quiet nonetheless, and we slept well. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the town centre, and if you're too tired to walk back you can always take the tram!... More

Usually, I love to share the memorable experience that I had and I try not to share my unpleasant experience on TA review as we all love travel and to explore new. Trip is kind of adventure and ties to certain risk. So we all traveler plans in advance to ensure to avoid predictable risk which I have done all... More

Great for a stop over on the way to the Alps. Small and friendly . Secure parking which was reasonably priced. Hotel room nicely decorated and the shower room was fantastic. Good wifi. Around 10 mins to the old town and next to the railway station . Lovely little town for a days sight seeing . Good value for money... More

Newly built, modern hotel built round a small courtyard. Not glamorous at all but clean and airy. Parking provided. The hotel is a ten minute walk out of the centre, but we enjoyed walking along the river and up numerous steps to the Citadel. Best of all the breakfast - well worth the 11E with Lots of choice, fresh and... More

It is amazing that the town of Besancon, which does possess quite a number of both man made and natural tourist attractions, does not have one really good hotel. This property is decent enough, and its staff is friendly, but in my opinion does not rate more than three stars. The rooms are sparsely furnished, the neighborhood - except for... More

This hotel is very quiet although quite close to the Viotte train station in Besançon. I had a "superior" room at 89 euros, spacious and without any kind of noise, as requested. Reception was helpful, breakfast (not included in the price of the room) very good, except that the orange juice, made of genuine oranges, was mediocra as the oranges... More

It's a "logis de France", so difficult to be disappointed. Big, quite room, with a living room corner, confortable 140cm bed, bathroom with a big "italian" shower (I prefer the shower boxes, but most people like it better). Separate toilet (without sink, unfortunately). All clean and quite new. Fantastic breakfast, with a large choice of small croissents, as well as... More
