We stayed here over New Year and it really is a nice calm place to stay. Its on a quiet picturesque sidestreet with the river at the end of it just over the road. Notre Dame is about a 3 minute walk away over a bridge. We didnt eat here as it wasnt part of our deal, but there are...

In a narrow street about 300m walk form the Notre Dame. A great place to stay, very central. Quartier Latin, St. Germain Des Pres, Marais; everything is nearby! Only...be aware that the bathroom has no door...so when you are for the first with your lover??

This hotel was a lovely surprise, with a perfect location on a quiet street in the heart of the 5th arrondisement. Cool decor, small but charming rooms, and a friendly staff. A wonderful market - boulangerie, patisserie, charcuterie, wine store, fish store, all located across the street. Metro stop is steps away, so it was convenient to go anywhere. The...

Rooms are small but renovated, very clean and good bed. Excelent location. Will go back again. Breakfast could have more options but ok for Paris. Staff is extremely friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel for over 20 years. Exceptional owner and staff. The hotel is in an excellent location for walking and the Metro. We have stayed here with our children and have just returned on our own for a weekend. The rooms and lobby were refurnished in 2010 and all are in excellent condition. Yes, the rooms...

A friend of mine and I just wanted to stay in a hotel in Quartier Latin and I found this hotel on the internet. I decided to book it because the price was much cheaper than the other hotels on the neighbourhood. This hotel was definetely the best I could ever pick. We are 2 young Brazilian women, so we...

I've taken 2 trips to Paris a year for about 6 years now and I always like to stay in this San Michel - San Germaine area in the 5th. I've stayed at this hotel 4 times over the years but this is the first time in a while. It's had some changes recently to the decor so it's not...

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights early August. The hotel's location is fantastic, you could simply walk to most major attractions- the metro station is a stone throw away. We always stay in this area when we visit Paris and we're lucky this time to find a great, last minute deal. The whole hotel underwent recent renovations without losing...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
