The guy at the desk who I assume is the owner or manager was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. When I arrived they said my reservation wasn't there because the card I used online didn't work, strangely it worked for another hotel the same day I made both bookings. The girl at the desk was trying to help but every suggestion...

Central Paris is expensive and one gets very little for +100 EURO so the room was small as expected. However, there are certain minimum requirements for a hotel that are not met at this this place.. Service is something that is provided that one should not ask for. In this place we asked for clean towels and got nothing, we...

I stayed here for 4 nights on my first trip to Paris. This is a quaint hotel. Rooms are small but clean and the hallways very narrow but you do get your own very small bathroom. Some things don't work like couldn't pay the bill by credit card as machine didn't work! Had to go down the road and get cash!...

We stayed in the smallest room ever, a Twin room (Room 10). The room was just as pictured on the website - the twin beds shared a headboard and about an inch of space between the mattresses. The bathroom was about a step from the bed and couldn't have been any smaller and still fit everything. The window opened onto...

We booked 4 nights with this hotel at Paris because of its location. There are lots of local restaurant nearby. 15 min walk to Louvre Museum and 5 min walk to Sentier Subway. The room are compact but clean. The lift only can accommodate 2 pax or 1 pax and a luggage. Travel on October 2013

If you are more concerned with location than how pretty your room is then this hotel is it. 5 minute walk to the Metro, right in the heart of all the action but on a quiet street. The room was extremely clean, the front desk gentleman was very helpful and friendly. What else do you really need? Skip the hotel...

We stayed here three nights. We loved the location of the hotel near the best area of wonderful restaurants, cafes, patisseries, fruit, and gourmet food outlets. The room was small but clean, we didn't mind as we were gone all day, good value for money being so close to everything and the metro is only 5mins away. Would recommend for...

stayed for 2N in june 2015, after finding out that all the one-star hotels on rue st. denis were either full or gone forever. this was slightly more expensive than i expected, but the room was tidy and had in-room shower and toilet. the room was overlooking rue leopold bellan and had a cosy amount of noise from the street....

What a great location, right near Les Halles in the 2nd, a quiet side road of an amazing ingly busy cafe street. Easy to get to metro and easy walks to most of the center. Rooms were tidy and very decent, and a small breakfast room. I will definitely stay there again.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
