A lovely hotel, easily accessible by car from the périphérique, youthfull, lively and relaxing. The food is good, the rooms pleasant and the staff is very hospitable and helpfull. What more could you want?

I've stayed only one night in Paris, and Mama Shelter was a great experience. thanks to its unique design (designed by Stark!) it's really attractive and welcoming; especially in the reception hall and also bar& restaurant zone. Rooms are not so interesting, cheap material and "predictable" details in terms of architecture. I've stayed in the master room what was enough...

The hotel is not bad in general, what is not understandable is the lack of light, you can hardly see (in the room, in the lobby, at breakfast). I mean on purpose the light in the hotel is kept very very low...

I'm an event planner, received a tour of Mama Shelter Los Angeles awhile back and learned that Paris was the original property. So when my spur of the moment Paris trip came up, I was THRILLED to book on their website for the exact days I wanted. I was traveling by myself to visit friends and a single bed room...

Awesome brunch for special events and families celebrating everything. The food was fantastic and the choices were abundant. Everything was perfectly prepared and presented with care. The flavors in everything I tasted was spot on as well. Best brunch for me in Paris yet next to the Chicago brunch scene.

If you have never heard of Mama Shelter before, then put them on your to do list if you fancy staying at a non traditional hotel. Bared brick walls, funky designs, hip touches, great restaurant and bar and above all excellent staff who have a policy of treating guests like best mates. Add in great rates and comfortable rooms and...

Mama Shelter is like staying in a really hot hipster spot with wine, brick oven pizza and a DJ at your disposal. The place smells great -- they use a different signature scent every day, and the interior is very tres chic. We also found our room to be sparse, but well appointed. Having stayed out late every night, we...

Nasty welcome to the location. A policy of entry racial discrimination based on your looks employed by the security porter at the entrance, coming up with awful excuse (the bar was privatised, whereas when the restaurant was called for enquiry, the bar was accessible with no private party going on)....if this how they welcome tourists, they have a long way...

A simple mid scale designed hotel .The concept is totally different than the regular hotel. . very friendly and warm hospitality right from the reception entry to exit. you have to have a meal at the lobby restaurant . Some awesome food they serve. The restaurant is packed always and it is advisable to book your table .

When I arrived I was told there was a room ready on the 1st floor, and asked if this was ok, I said "why would it not be?" and was told some people just dont like to be on the first floor. So I said ok then its fine, BIG MISTAKE, as I was above the bar's outdoor terrace..... why...
