4.5 Clean, friendly helpful staff, great location, full apartment facilities. We stayed in the duplex #9, kitchen and living upstairs, 2 bedrooms downstairs. All facilities including washing machine/dryer. Very central with excellent nearby restaurants. Suggest: Restaurant AG (special occasion or seasonal flavours for foodies), Vagenende Brasserie (ambience, service, traditional fare), or Le Moliere for good local cafe. All within a...

This is an apartment-hotel on the Boulevard Saint Germain, close to the metro stop. I booked the Deluxe Studio with kitchen. The entrance to the hotel is nothing but a door, on the other side of which is a dark narrow corridor and a winding staircase (though there is an elevator) leading up to the small reception room that seems...

We stayed 2 nights and wished we were here for a week. A comfortable unique Paris experience. The staff were helpful, friendly and gave us instructions for the bakery, supermarket and let us know we only had to ask if we wanted anything else. We stayed in a one bed from apartment overlooking Boulevard Saint Germain on the 4th floor....

We had many positive experiences at the hotel, here are a few highlights: 1. The staff helped us arrange transportation to and from the hotel, which was excellent....

Very convenient location close to the shops and restaurants and within a short walking distance to the Lourvre, Notre Dame and the Luxembourg gardens. We stayed at the apartments which was comfortable and well equipped. The staff is amazing! Marie and Juliete in particular were extremely helpful, very polite and went out of their way to help us out.

I'll say first of all that the apartment at La Maison St Germain my partner and I are currently staying in is comfortable and reasonably well equipped. The WiFi works very well. The lady who met us on arrival was also very friendly. What lets this apartment down (for €700/UK£600/US$780 for two nights) is: worn fixtures and fittings, worn/dirty furniture,...

I will begin by saying that a lot of pride, expense and love has gone into these appartments. We were greeted very warmly and nothing was too much trouble. The location and views were even better than we had hoped. The sun was on the balcony all afternoon and views towards Les Invalides and Tour Eiffel were superb. Sunsets were...

This was my 5th time in Paris. I've stayed budget (in my 20s) as well as Georges V (past 2 trips). This was an experience that delivered a taste of Parisian life in an excellent location away from the tourist chaos of the Louvre and Eiffel Tower locations. Rented a 2-bedroom duplex with my husband and 2 children. Fantastic view...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
