Had an awesome stay at Joyce Astotel in Paris for 3 nights from 10th April to 13th April. The concierge Mr. Samuel was an amazing host; very satisfied with his service. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Stayed four nights with family in two rooms. Good sized rooms for Paris. About 25 min walk from Gard du Nord with pull along suitcases. Given all relevant info when we checked in including a map. Lovely staff with friendly and helpful attitude - this makes such a difference. All the facilities you need in the room including minibar with...

Stayed at hotel Joyce for our anniversary in September - totally flawless from beginning to end. We were greeted on arrival by Douglas who took the time to sit us down with a map and show us where we were in relation to the tourist spots (and gave us some tips on where to avoid). Our room was modern, spacious...

Loved this hotel, staff welcoming from the start and helpful throughout stay. Travelled with teenage boys so the free soft drinks and snacks very useful. Rooms a good size and comfortable, layout of hotel modern but quirky with spiral staircase and designs. Breakfast it has to be said was fresh and very good with hot and cold choices. We didn't...

Just fantastic, 3 generations on a visit to Paris and Hotel Joyce delivered a pleasurable stay for us all. Super funky and staff were so friendly. As soon as we arrived we were offered a drink and given information to help with the stay. Great size rooms and lovely touch of free mini bar (soft drinks). On going provision of...

Stuff is friendly, rooms very small, but this is normal for Paris. Avoid room 002 as it is very close to the elevator and on the ground floor, so it picks up all sort of noise. Towels are also very small and I found it very inconvenient for showers. Other than that, location is great and they have a free...

I treated my mum to a weekend in Paris and searched high and low for the perfect place to stay. Hotel Joyce delivered on all fronts. Funky, artsy, classy, understated perfection. We loved this hotel from the moment we stepped in and were greeted by Joel! So pleasant, as were all the staff who sat on reception. The room was...

It was perfect and the hotel is part of a branch that has 7 other hotels which are spread all around Paris and you can have free non alcoholic drinks and snacks from 12-4am which is ideal! the staff was very helpful and nice and the decoration is super cute and french-chic! We will repeat for sure!

I highly recommend this hotel! The service is excellent and the staff is very helpful. Upon arrival, Douglas (front desk staff) walked me through a map of Paris and made lots of good recommendations about getting around. Location is wonderful. There's a wonderful cafe on the block (Bo Man Cafe) that I went to most nights for a glass of...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable South-Pigalle neighborhood. Maliciously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design. Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l'oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world. Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops. Our team, available 24/24, will welcome you into a chic and relaxing atmosphere, while advising you on the top attractions of a perfect stay Find design rooms filled with art works and indulge in a burst of merriment and fresh air in the capital ... ... more   less
