This is a really nice contemporary looking boutique style hotel, conveniently located close to two metro stations. The room had everything we needed and the bar downstairs had complimentary drinks and pastries. The breakfast was also good and high quality selection really allowed us to start the day off right. The area is great; with lots of bars and restaurants...

Everything is perfect. Friendly staff, nice, helpful, warm, welcoming. Good breakfast selection. Snacks served in the afternoon. Mini mini bar in the room complimentary. Comfy bed, clean, very quiet. Everything I would want and expect from a hotel. Added to all this is the nice location and fair price.

What a beautiful quaint hotel! Clean, modern rooms although fairly small, but welcome to Europe, right? The location was great, walking distance to the Metro and several bars and restaurants and even the Moulin Rouge. Great place to lay your head at a reasonable price in a magnificent city!

Joyce Hotel was just like the photos - a really lovely hotel. We chose it because of previous reviews which were all great. We stayed for 2 nights with our teenage kids. Both rooms were great with some cool, quirky decor, clean and with free minibar of soft drinks. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. Would...

There are a lot of good things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was in a great location, a short walk to 3 metro stations. They had a free snack/ drink bar opened from 2pm-2am. The rooms were fairly big and very clean. It's a great place to stay on a budget!

For the price, this hotel is well located, the beds are very comfortable and the WiFi is solid. It's all very practical and comfortable for a mid level 3 star hotel. The service was good too. There are free soft drinks and some snacks at the bar which is pretty handy and there's a selection of free drinks in the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable South-Pigalle neighborhood. Maliciously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design. Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l'oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world. Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops. Our team, available 24/24, will welcome you into a chic and relaxing atmosphere, while advising you on the top attractions of a perfect stay Find design rooms filled with art works and indulge in a burst of merriment and fresh air in the capital ... ... more   less
