The hotel is in a 19th century building, which is much more to my taste than the "modern" hotels. It's a small hotel; only 5 stories high. The lobby is small, but there's a bar and a restaurant (both very expensive). However, there's a small supermarket less than 5 minutes away, so you can avoid ordering breakfast. There's a small...

I just checked out of this hotel a couple of hours ago. First off, great location. Has a metro in its area, it's close to many attractions like the Louvre (a pedestrian lane away from the entrance), Jardin de Tullieries, Notre Dame, L'Opera, and other places like the Champs-Elysees and Eiffel Tower are pretty accessible using the metro. The hotel...

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times. It is in a perfect location. The opera house view is the absolute best. They have a small balcony that your can enjoy a fantastic view and people watch. The louvre view is not good; you are looking at the side of a big building on a busy street. There is a...

My husband and I have stayed at the Hotel du Louvre 3 times, the most recent from August 30 to September 2, 2013. During our last stay, on September 1 my cultured pearl necklace valued at $5,000.00 was stolen from my room. A report was filed with the manager, but since the necklace was not in the safe, but in...

We went to Paris for New Yearà's and had a phenomenal experience. The Hotel du Louvre is elegant, comfortable, and conveniently located. There were two metro stops just feet from the hotel. We could see one of the wings of the Louvre from our room, which was just so exciting! We had a suite that included a sitting room w/TV, king...

Wonderful location just across the street from the Louvre, but really needs refurbishing. Rooms were decent in size, but ask for one on a high floor as it's location is in a very busy area and therefore noisy. Everything about our room looked old and faded, not shabby chic.

We had a great family vacation at the Hotel du Louvre and overall, I'd recommend it with reservations. It took us three tries to get acceptable rooms, but once we did, we were quite happy. This hotel is located in the heart of Paris with numerous cafe's next to the hotel. Ideal hotel for families & shopping. I was greeted by a very pleasant & polite Morocon receptionist when I checked in, forgot her name. I would surely stay there again in my next visit to Paris.
