I come to Paris twice a year for work and have been staying at Le Citizen for a couple of years now. Great, modern hotel and aesthetic, fab location and most of all the friendliest and most helpful staff! Free beer and snacks in the mini bar seal the deal! I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Only 2 nights and it was great ! I'm coming at least once every year to Paris and I always choose another type of accomodation : that time was a great experience !!! The hotel is just amazing ; a discreet renewed building with a tiny door hides a very cozy lobby and breakfast area. My room and bath were...

Hello Yvan! We are glad you have had a nice experience with us! We hope that your last cultural tour was interesting and helpful for your work in Neuchâtel ;) Your comment helps us so much to keep the energy! The aperitif time in front of the Canal Saint-Martin was a nice moment. Thank you from all of us! Ilyas,...

I enjoyed a wonderful January 2016 return visit to Paris and Le Citizen after an absence of 2 years. The hotel remains largely, thankfully unchanged. Paris itself however has experienced much tragedy, what with the Charlie Hebdo attack one year ago this month, and the November 13, 2015 attacks as well, many in the 10th and 11th arrondissements, some just...

Everyone in the family loved this hotel. The teens had their own bed. We had two bathrooms and the layout was so clever for all rooms to have a beautiful view of the canal. The staff was so helpful guiding our way through our visit to Paris and helping us with suggestions for activities, dinners and being gracious in our...

I have teens too and I tried to think of them when I created the place. So I love when I read your lines to think that maybe it works :-) Thank you for your nice and encouraging words. It is very appreciated! Hope to see you again soon, Sophie

My visit to Le Citizen Hotel was much needed after 8 months of full on work. I booked for a quick trip, to restore my spirits to walk in Paris. I have visited Le Citizen many times. Their customer service is always impeccable, nothing, but nothing is too much trouble. I'm always encouraged by the team in my terrible French...

My stay at this hotel was a total mess. The car pickup service that I ordered prior to my arrival through the hotel didn't happen. I didn't have phone service at the airport, only wifi. Emailing to the staff went unanswered. So I took a regular cab from the airport. The room was ridiculously small even for one small person....

Dear Trip Advisor, I am so sorry to read that you were unhappy with your stay with us. We work with a driver company that is highly valued by our guest as it makes a real difference when you are welcomed as soon as you get out of the plane. Of course, I understand the frustration when, whatever the good...

Small hotel By the Canal, suitably located and well built (even though the choice of light switch buttons could have done differently - that was actually the only minus we could think of). But the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made everything just perfect. Excellent value for money!

On this trip we wanted to stay on the other side of Paris and chose Le Citizen Hotel in the canal area. The managers spoke fluent English and were so obliging. The cooked breakfast was delicious and our room on the first floor was adequate for space. The windows were double-glazed and blocked traffic noise and there was a huge...

Lovely area of Paris and a great hotel with polite and friendly staff which includes breakfast service. Really enjoyed our 4 days there and will definitely be back. Plenty to do in the area and a great vibe by the canal.

Since 1981 I've been to Paris at least once a year. With one or two exceptions I've never been to the same hotel twice. But to this one, I'll come back soon. Le Citizen Hotel is neither the most spectacular, beautiful or luxurios accomodation in Paris I've ever been to. But it is most certainly the one I've felt most...
