"A hotel in the center of the Quartier Latin, one of Paris-lovers’ favorite parts of Paris" Located in the center of the Quartier Latin, the Hotel Parc Saint Séverin overlook a peaceful pedestrian road amid the busy, intertwining lanes that date back to the Middle Ages. The Rue de la Parcheminerie takes its name from parchment merchants who worked here in the 14th century, when the trade was a prosperous one. The schools and students of the Latin Quarter came here to buy their parchment, making this a very busy street. Later Diderot’s first home in Paris in this street. Just a few minutes’ walk away, you can stroll past the booksellers on the quays of the Seine, discover Sorbonne University and the Saint-Michel Fountain and then the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral on the other bank. Picturesque Île Saint Louis and timeless Jardin du Luxembourg are also nearby, from the hotel. But beyond the historic situation of the site, it is the view over the rooftops of Paris, Notre Dame Cathedral, the church and cloister of Saint Séverin, the Panthéon and even the Eiffel Tower that give the Parc Saint Séverin Hotel its inimitable charm, at the heart of the 5th arrondissement, the romantic heart of Paris.

Highly recommend. This is my 6th time staying in the Latin Quarter-5th a. - and I feel this hotel is among the best. They have a dedicated staff who are helpful and become welcoming faces upon departure and return throughout the stay. The breakfast is exceptional, fresh breads and pastries; coffee made to order, eggs, cheeses, meats, muesli, yogurts. It lacks nothing, and is a quiet and elegant to start the day. Our room was #21 - efficient and no balcony but lovely windows that opened to the courtyard below. Offers a tub with U.S.-style shower. Nice to choose a lower floor since the lift is small. The staircase is easy to climb, sturdy, spiral, and carpeted. Our room was freshened daily and bottles of water, flat and fizzy, and a bottle of Coke-a-cola, provided each day, complimentary. The lobby kept fresh water, tea and espresso (via machine) throughout the day and, often, fresh pastries & global newspapers. Location is within 1-2 blocks of multiple metro stations, walking to Notre Dame, many fine restaurants; within 1 mile of many of the top places to shop, walking, eat, and visit. There is a lovely restaurant adjacent to the hotel - Rocaille- and a delightful bookstore- The Abbey- across the alley- I highly recommend these also. (Pictured; sorry I did not take pictures of the hotel, but it is beautiful and very clean & orderly)

Very nice hotel tucked away in a fairly quiet corner of the Latin Quarter just across from Saint Severin Church. Very easy access to Cluny Sabonne and Saint Michel - Notre Dame Metro access (less than 1/2 mile away). Easy entrance to RER B train to airport from Cluny Sabonne Metro entrance, which is right around the corner (2 min walk) with only about 15 steps to navigate. “Lobby” area is very small and underwhelming but don’t let this be a concern as the rooms and breakfast area are VERY nice! We requested room 41 (or 42) for economical room on the Church (quiet) side. Room was lovely with premium bedding/ towels and had great storage areas, lots of built-in shelving/closet. Bathroom was great with deep tub/shower which was great for a soak; however, if you have mobility issues the tub may be difficult to navigate. A hairdryer was supplied in the bathroom. The hotel did have a small elevator. Mini frig stocked daily with one each water, fizzy water, and Coke - all free. The room also had a Nespresso coffee machine. In breakfast/lobby area there is an honor system mini bar with more cokes, wine, beer, and spirits like Jack Daniels, Bailey’s, etc for reasonable prices. Service could not have been better! Everyone so very welcoming and courteous! Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices of pastries, meat, cheese, toast and lots of premium jams and honey, yogurt, fruit, sometimes scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage links were available, sometimes not, depending on what time we came (but probably would have been made available had we asked). There were 4 kinds of juices each morning. There was a coffee machine in the breakfast area but the attendant didn’t want you to use this, she would bring me a teapot of “Americano” each morning and I would ask for milk which she also brought in a stylish serve dish. Just ask the attendant available 24/7 at the front desk if you want ice. Very polite, attentive staff all spoke excellent English and were happy to answer any questions.

We fell in love with this little hotel in the Latin Quarter. Its location provides a quiet and peaceful sanctuary due to its location on two alleyways beside the ecoile St Severin! The location is perfect! It’s with walking distance to Notre Dame, The Louvre, The Pantheon, and Seine river tours- just a few of far too many to name. The food choices nearby are also excellent! Transport is a few minutes away.
The service was excellent. Romane assisted us with transport even before we arrived and gave us excellent advice for things to do.
Our room (50) was the largest room we have had over our 5 week trip and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The ability to use the facilities of partner hotels in Paris is a great initiative. We were very sad to leave and will be recommending this hotel to all we know who travel to Paris. We hope to return.

Dear Angela M, Thank you very much for your warm comment. We are delighted that you loved your stay at the Hotel Parc Saint-Séverin. As you said, we have a central location : near to a lot of sightseeing, near to the two main streets, but still surrounded by pedestrian streets which offer a lot of calm too. We have also a lot of transportation such as buses, métros or RER, which is nice to reach train station faster, airport but also to discover Paris ! It was a great pleasure to help you out about transportation, transfer, etc. We know that transportation in Paris can be difficult to understand and even more if there is some troubles on the lines... ;) Indeed, as a member of Esprit de France, if you sleep in one the hotel of our group, you can visit the other hotels and enjoy their facilities : toilettes, wifi and the tea time (coffee, tea, cake and pastries for free) ! In any cas we are really happy that you really love your Parisian experience with us and it will be a pleasure to welcome you back for your next journey. Kindly Yours, Romane Front Desk Team Manager

Charming hotel, beautiful design, great location on left bank, friendly and extremely helpful staff who made our stay so memorable : this is Paris at its best! Reasonable price for our traveling group of 6 : 3 bedrooms > all quaint, well-equipped with thoughtful furnishings > plenty of shelves for personal items, clean room and bed; and new heating in bathroom for warm fluffy towels, well maintained and did I mention how beautiful everything is? Our room overlooked a church that was brightly lit. While we had a pickpocket incident - we also felt the sincerity of the hotel staff who helped us. That kind of service is priceless for any traveler.

We can not find a single negative thing to say about this hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful from the minute we walked in the door until we left on our final day. We arrived too early to check-in but that was no problem, not a hesitation - they took our bags and we headed out to explore Paris and grab some food. We were booked in a "Double room - Classic with bath" and it was plenty big for our needs. €300/night and it was worth every cent. This lovely little hotel is situated away from any vehicle traffic. Your Uber will drop you off at the corner, and you have to walk in. This made the location exceptional. Only pedestrian traffic all the way around the buildings, and 2 mins from restaurants and food of every kind. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom for buildings this age and every space in the room was so logically placed to capitalize every inch of the room. We walked everywhere from this location - the furthest place we walked to was 5 kilometres away, but most sites were within 2 kilometres. Metro, Rail and even the Seine cruise was less than a kilometre walk from the front door.

This hotel surpassed our high expectations! We had a very short time in Paris and I chose this hotel based on the location and reviews of the friendly staff. The quiet alley was perfect for rest, but the location is just a few steps from the RER/metro stop, river, and many eateries, perfect for all of the sightseeing we fit in. The front desk staff was so helpful with our questions about restaurants and helping us get a car back to the airport. The bathrooms/showers were updated and had good hot water and pressure. I enjoyed the water kettle and espresso machine in my room as well as the fridge with stocked water/coke. The room was a little small by American standards, but quite reasonable for Paris. My parents had a terrace room which was more spacious and had an amazing balcony overlooking the city. I am so glad we found this gem and will stay here anytime we return as well as tell our friends and family about this wonderful hotel.

This was the second time we stayed at Parc Saint-Séverin in Paris, the first time was September 2022. The hotel is in a quiet area off the busy streets in the Latin Quarter and within walking distance to Notre Dame on the Lîle de la Cité, Luxembourg Gardens, many restaurants, bookstores, and shopping. Rocaille's restaurant next door is a wine bistro with excellent food and traditional French hospitality that offers a 10% discount for hotel guests. The hotel staff is accommodating and willing to meet needs such as booking taxis or other needs you may have. The rooms are clean and well attended to, and the beds are comfortable with luxurious linens. I felt very safe in this neighborhood. After a busy day of traveling and sightseeing, this is a quiet and comforting place to relax before heading out for the evening for dinner. I will stay there again on my next visit to Paris!

This hotel is in a very convenient location close to the Latin Quarter and a short walk from Notre Dame. The bedroom with ensuite bathroom was nicely laid out with a small annexe for tea/coffee and fridge facilities. The beds are very comfortable. We stayed here for five nights in June upon recommendation from a friend who had stayed here. Before our friend told us about this hotel, I had read a LOT of reviews on many hotels, and so many of the reviews talked about how small the rooms were all over Paris. I was having trouble deciding on a hotel, which arr. to stay in, etc. I thought I wanted to be near the Eiffel Tower, so booked a room in the 7th arr. near Rue Cler, with a view of the tower. Once our friend told us about the St. Severin, I looked it up and it was around $75 less expensive per night than the hotel I had booked. I decided to skip the Eiffel Tower view, go with his recommendation, and booked a superior room. We ended up so happy with our choice! The superior room was a little under 200 sq. ft. - plenty big enough for us. It contained a king bed, desk with chair, wardrobe for our clothes, nightstands, reading light above the bed for each of us, and enough extra room to store our suitcases w/o having to step over them. Nice big windows. The front desk staff - everyone - was soooo helpful, and we thought the location couldn't be beat. Less than a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame and St. Chappelle, 15 minutes to the Louvre, less than 30 minutes to the Orsay Museum and the Orangerie museum. Lots of good restautants very near, as well as the train. If I go to Paris again, I will definitely stay in one of the Esprit de France hotels!

This hotel is well-located (close to restaurants, shopping, Metro station(s) and the RER train line). I was very happy with my "single traveler" room. It was quiet, spacious (compared to other "single traveler" rooms I've experienced in Paris), the bathroom was equipped with nice products, the front desk staff was amazing, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, afternoon tea and cake was a welcome respite after a day of walking/wandering around Paris.....what more can I say? I would not hesitate to stay here again.
