We took a short trip to Paris, visiting the Christmas market on the Champs Elysees etc... This hotel is close to the center, great location. Small rooms (but we knew thanks to TripAdvisor) but charming atmosphere. Do ask for the special parking rate as you need to park your car across the street (public parking). We only stayed one nigh...

I only stayed one night in Hotel de Nice, but it's a very nice hotel. Unique! The girl at the reception was very nice and the room was really pretty! Lovely place to stay if you are planning to stay in Paris. ;) I'll definitely go back on my next trip to Paris. Recommended!

great location. close to a few highlights and great access to others: metro station is just 2 minutes walk from the doorstep of the hotel. Parkingfacility is across the street, restaurants around the corner. It's excellent! Nice staff, good breakfast. What else do you need? Perhaps a bit bigger room.....but hey: it's paris, so you're out in the city! have...

I stayed 2 nights, solo, at Hotel De Nice in Sept. 2011. I had a very good experience there, and would return. The front desk people were very helpful and spoke English. The place was clean, quite charming, and a good price, so I didn't mind that the room was small. They have a beautiful breakfast room which was very enjoyable,...

For a first time traveler to Paris, it was something of a shock to see the smallness of a double room, but the size worked just fine. I will get my main complaints out first: it had a tub with a shower head, but no shower curtain, making it difficult to contain the water. Had to ask for an extra...

We've been coming here for 23 years--back when there was no elevator and no double windows. This is a 2-star hotel on a busy street in Paris, so be realistic in your expectations. The price is absolutely right for what it is: a charming little old hotel with great decor and a terrific location. We were there in September and...

this is a very charming, clean and well located hotel. our room had a small balcony overlooking the square below which was really nice. the doors were sufficient in keeping street noise out. the room was small like most Paris hotels but had ample storage so it didn't feel too cramped. perfectly located for the marais and the metro is...

Stay away from this place in the summer.. the elevator and AC never worked. When you visit Paris in the summer.. it can get so hot 40c and humid everywhere that you want to sleep in normal temperatures.. but not at this place. It is pretty but I wasn't happy climbing the stairs (broken elevator) The place is pretty .....

The decor is fabulous & the ambience terrific but despite the numerous recommendations note that the hotel has been stripped right back & there are few comforts. The towels are threadbare & soft as sandpaper. Some decent soap for the bathroom would be a treat. Wifi & aircon are available but at additional cost. The beds are EXTREMELY hard, the...

The location of the hotel was excellent and the room was very nice, despite the intimate size. The staff were very helpful, and the proximity to the Metro, to cafes, to attractions and to shopping, was terrific.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
