A small, friendly neighborhood hotel on a human scale, comfortable and very well located. My room was quiet, clean and had a nice feeling of comfort, confirmed by very good bedding. Last night was exemplary. In addition, it was air-conditioned, which is very welcome in the middle of a heatwave.
Bathroom small but well designed and clear so no negatives. The decor in the common areas is a little dated and the breakfast room a little small, but that doesn't bother me because it feels good there. I hesitated to make this recommendation because I would like to be able to come back easily and if it is taken over by too many customers this will no longer be the case! What more can be said ?!

We stayed at this hotel from 15 to 20 August, and I must say that we had a very good time (we were 2). Friendly staff, they welcomed us at 00.30 to check in. Very strategic location, metro 2 steps in a very quiet location, full of bars and restaurants. From the room you could not hear the slightest external noise (especially from the street), room not overly large but for two people was ok. I did not put 5 stars because, apart from the first day, the bathroom was not stocked with shampoo and bubble bath and breakfast was quite poor given the price of 13 euros (we did it only on the first day)
If I were to return to Paris I would gladly return

I visited this hotel for the second time. It is really well located, between 3 metro stations (Vavin, Montparnasse Bienvenue and Edgar Quinet) and is literally surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The hotel is clean and secure, with one person at the 24-hour reception. I recommend this hotel.

I've stayed in this hotel several times over the past two years. The service has been excellent, the hotel has been clean and reasonably quiet, the self-serve breakfast has been very good and I've been pleased overall.

During this past visit I made the mistake of opting for the in-hotel self-serve breakfast for every morning of my stay, as I have done on past visits. At 12E per person per day, it's much more expensive than breakfast at any one of the local cafés or brasseries, but the convenience generally outweighs the cost.

On this visit, we were there for six mornings. The first morning, a Sunday, the breakfast was fine. The Delambre offers the usual continental breakfast options: juice, croissants, coffee, along with eggs, sausages, pancakes. Most of that was present and there was a clean table for us.

The next day there were no warm foods at all (eggs, sausage, pancakes), which we had been counting on to fuel a busy day. There were also a number of dirty tables, but there was one table we could sit at. Midway through our meal a man appeared and asked if we wanted any eggs. We said "yes" and some were, at length, delivered to us.

The following day there were no clean tables and no attendant present. We assembled a table ourselves from unused settings on other tables. There was no warm food present, either. We contented ourselves with croissants, juice, bowls of rather limp mixed fruit, and coffee.

The day after that, there was a small amount of eggs on offer, but not enough for both of us, and no other warm foods. There was one clean table. Again we had a cold breakfast.

The day after that we came down from our room to discover the dining area in disarray, and my travel partner (who had had enough of our paying for a warm breakfast that was rarely there) rebelled and insisted we go somewhere where they would serve us a good breakfast before a morning of energetic activity touring Paris, which we did.

The last morning we just skipped the breakfast area altogether and went to La Coupole, just around the corner from the hotel for a much more satisfying breakfast served to us in our seats for less money and with pleasant conversation with the waiter.

When it came time to pay the bill we notified the desk clerk of our problems. He seemed surprised but unsympathetic, and offered no apology. I told him I was a regular customer and he said we should have complained at the time. While we had asked for eggs once, it seemed to me that complaining and having to wait for better service would've negated the advantage of dining in the hotel, and that it's up to the hotel to monitor and maintain their level of service. Notwithstanding, the desk clerk refused to allow us a breakfast fee refund for our unsatisfactory breakfast service.

While I may risk staying at this hotel again because I like the neighborhood so much, in the future I'll breakfast at La Coupole, or simply pick up breakfast items from one of the two supermarchés or the boulangerie just a few doors down the street.

It's worth noting, too, that there are several other good hotels in the neighborhood (some on the same street) so it's not necessary to stay at Delambre to have a good visit to Paris or even the Montparnasse quarter.

This hotel is part of a package (plane-hotel) offered by Air Transat. It is a high quality 3 star. The welcome is quite charming, warm and professional. The entrance hall is welcoming and the rooms fully meet our expectations. In addition, located in the heart of Montparnasse, this hotel is close to 3 metro stations. We cannot highly recommend this hotel, particularly to Quebecers visiting Paris. We had an excellent stay there and we will return soon.

This is my umpteenth stay at the Delambre hotel which I have frequented for many years. I have always had nothing but praise for the excellent service, courtesy and professionalism of the team, not to mention the very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially since the location in the heart of Montparnasse is ideal

Hotel ideally located within walking distance of Gare Montparnasse, public transport, restaurants. Very helpful and courteous staff, spacious, comfortable, clean room, comfortable bedding. You may want to refresh the carpet, improve the soundproofing of the sanitary areas of the rooms, a longer power cable for the kettle to reach the socket, but these are details which did not penalize the stay. A place steeped in history which makes it a charming hotel on a human scale and warm. Very decent breakfast, excellent coffee, pastries and plenty of fresh bread.

Second stay in this small but clean and comfortable hotel which is in a relatively quiet street in Montparnasse, within walking distance of loads of bars and restaurants. Served by two Metro stations and a short stroll from the Luxembourg Gardens. We had a small room at the front with a balcony. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Montparnasse is a fantastic base to see Paris and a great location in its own right. It's also on a direct Metro line from the Gare du Nord so it takes only a short time to get there after the Eurostar.

This small, well situated and quiet hotel, represents decent value for money. The rooms are comfortable, clean and everything works properly. We are happy to recommend it to visitors to Paris. Apart from being convenient to one of the city's main stations there is a nice street market nearby as well as a really good Monoprix supermarket (in fact more of a reasonably priced department store) and lots of restaurants too.

We, a couple of Japanese and faroese from the Faroe islands, were new to Paris, and unable to communicate in French at all. Nonetheless, people at the hotel were welcoming, polite, helpful and very warm.
We would like to thank all the staff there for our most pleasant stay in Paris, and highly recommend this hotel to anyone without any reservation.

Hi, I forwarded the question to my daughter who lived on Delambre street at the time we visited but if she did not answer, I saw available parking, Not sure if these spaces are just for a quick visit to the stores on the street. Suzanne
