Fabulous hotel in a great location in Paris! Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, small Parisian pastry in the room on arrival for Christmas celebration! Daily breakfast is delicious especially the coffee (freshly brewed) but maybe not worth the price. Hotel bar/lounge and lobby very comfortable. Also a gym off the breakfast room. Hope to...

We love this boutique hotel in the Saint Germain area, on the historic Rue Jacob. 2 mins walk to famous landmarks like Café Flore or Les Deux Magots, designer shops, art galleries aplenty, a stylish hotel with great interior design and service.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a total of 6nights (went away to iceland in between 3 nights) and came back with 3 of our luggages already in our room (we left them with concierge for safekeep while in iceland). The rooms we found big already for Paris standards. When we came back for the last 3...

A lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of the 6th arrondissement among the Latin Quarter. A very clean, surprisingly spacious hotel with brilliant staff. Not cheap by any stretch but I'd hazard fair value given the surrounds. One would not have to walk far for anything in this area.

Well... first the positive: Great locaiton, cant be better. Close to the metro station, in the best and most shick quarter of Paris and close to top tourists attractions, resturants, etc. However, its a too small hotel - and I'll explain. The rooms (and we had a deluxe room, i'm wondering what the ordinary rooms are like...) are what I...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
