First, the Hotel is at walking distance of Montmartre Hill, one of the most typical places in Paris, like a little historical village overlooking the city with a stunning view on the city.
Concerning the Seine River, Cathedral Notre Dame, or Place de la Concorde down the Champs Elysées, you just have to get on the Metro line 12 or 4 (both have a station close to the hotel). Both lines bring you to these famous spots in 15 mn approx.
There was definitely no aircon. I can remember thinking it would be hot in summer. We went at Easter & had the window open, the rooms were quite warm. Can't remember the exact times of breakfast-it was standard times though!
