Another excellent stay of 2 nights in this outstanding Hotel which is located close to Opera and Louvre. The room was clean, fourth floor, with amazing view of the roofs in Paris. A very nice breakfast and the usual kindness and efficiency of hothel personnel made us feeling at home.

My husband and I choose to stay at Hotel Chopin for part of our honeymoon this past week. We first found Hotel Chopin 5 years ago and fell in love with the little passageway leading to the hotel and the wonderful teahouse and chocolate shop a few doors down. The hotel was just as wonderful as we remembered it. Thanks...

Good location for sightseeing and visiting museums. Silent at night. Passages with their old fashion shops, coffees and galleries are wonderful surrounding. Hotel Chopin fits in to this area of Paris 1900.

I have wanted to stay at the Hotel Chopin for ages. I was not disappointed when I finally got there. It is a historic site and it simply feels like a lovely home. The staff were extra helpful. Our room was so quiet in the middle of that busy city. And the resident cat just made it awesome.

Excellent location, close to the heart of the city. The fact that the hotel is situated at in a Passage means that there is no traffic noise whatsoever, so it made the stay very relaxing. The convenience of having the metro literally on the doorstep was a big plus.

This is not a large or modern hotel, so if that is what you want, go elsewhere and pay large modern prices. However, if you want a friendly, private stay in an excellent location, this is where to come.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
