We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Novotel in Les Halles. The staff was attentive and professional, and the location can't be beat. Our room on the top floor was extremely comfortable and we were surprised to be able to see the Eiffel Tower from our window! We will absolutely be returning to the hotel on our next visit.

Hotel's Favourite
I rarely leave a review on TA, I think I average about one per year - and I only write them when a place really impresses me. Hence. My wife and I along with our two kids aged 9 and 6 stayed here the second weekend of December for three nights, Saturday to Monday. The purpose of our visit was twofold, a couple of days sightseeing in beautiful Paris and a day spent visiting Eurodisney. So - location wise this hotel could not have been more perfectly placed had we done it by hand. The Chatelet - Les Halles metro station is on a short, direct line from CDG Airport, and to our delight, it is also on the direct line out to Disneyland. The cherry on the top is the fact that the hotel is quite literally 15 metres (and no roads needing crossing) from the Metro station entrance itself. It is built at the meeting points of six or seven roads and thus there is a straight line walk to the Seine at Pont Neuf, Notre Dame, the Louvre etc. So slap bang in the middle of town - and with numerous restaurants, bistros and pavement cafes in every direction. We ate locally and - being Scottish - we were quite pleased too at prices cheaper than in Edinburgh and a lot cheaper than London. Quel surprise. The hotel staff, and I mean all of them, were polite, helpful and kind. Lovely. We were B&B and the selection was great, plenty of options and not the plain ‘Continental’ I feared. An omelette chef on hand and plenty of bacon and eggs if thats your thing. Fresh fruit, bread, cheese and cured hams to die for - its all there and all fresh. Our room was an upgrade and whilst not exactly spacious (as is the way in Paris), it never felt cramped. We had a KS bed and a fold down settee for the kids. A lovely view out onto the street. Ps - on the Monday visit to Disney, it was our daughters 6th birthday. One of the Staff must have noticed because - when we returned that evening - they had put up decorations in the room specific to a 6th birthday. C’est beau.

100% serious: staff are nice and friendly and they did as much as they could to make your stay comfortable and satisfactory. I left my AirPods there and they contacted me right away. I knew it’s a busy week and they could not accommodate my late check out request yet, they proposed an alternative like advising me to conduct the conference call in a quiet area behind the lift. My call went very well - thank you Novotel Les Halles Team, you did a great job.

Great Hotel, great location very close to metro. Short walk to George Pompidou centre and Louvre. Excellent staff and lovely room. Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in room 512 and really liked it, lovely and clean. We had breakfast at hotel which was self service buffet style we paid 25 euro each adult and children were free. My daughter was 14 and she was free for breakfast (not sure what age goes up to count as child) All staff we dealt with at hotel were great.

Pros: -Hotel employees were helpful -The restaurant and lobby are clean -Next to a mall and shopping so if you need anything, it’s all within walking distance. Cons: -Glass between shower and room are not appropriate for families. You can practically see through the glass while the others are showering. Very strange. -Carpet is dingy and the room had a strange odor. -Windows open and while we thought it would be nice for a few hours, the rest of our time there was plagued by mosquitos. I will say that we didn’t call to get help with this issue because we thought we had killed them all but we kept waking up with additional mosquitos bites. It look like we visited a jungle, not Paris. There should at least be a warning not to open the windows as there may be mosquitos. -No washcloths -Toilet area smelled of urine -Loud all night as it is right next to and above a metro station -We felt unsafe at night in the area and actually heard someone screaming around 5AM one morning. Police were tending to another homeless, drunk group of four old mean the morning we left. -No pick up driveway for Ubers/Cars -Mold in shower and at entrance to bathroom above door. I would absolutely not stay here again. It feels more like an American budget hotel. The cleaning staff did a great job but they can only do so much.

Stayed one night, didn’t eat in the dining room. The hotel is an 8 minute taxi ride from Notre Dame, a 40 minute taxi ride from Orly. There is a metro stop immediately in front of the hotel but we didn’t use the metro this trip. We were happy to be able to have our dog in the room with us. The room was basic and suited our needs. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Roomy, comfortable lobby. Great location for Notre Dame area. Only two small problems. We could not get the temperature lowered in the room even when turning the system off. The floor of the shower is slick when wet. We put a towel down to be safe. Additionally the front staff recommended we eat lunch at Au Pied de Cochon. We had a not-so-great lunch but the service and ambiance were top-notch.

An amazing hotel. Great service, beautiful decor, fabulous food, we had breakfast every day and lots of choice. We enjoyed room service one evening too. Room spacious with plenty of storage and comfy beds. In a super location. Walkable to many sights. If you wanted a tube right outside the hotel. A massive Westfield shopping centre right outside. Lots of restaurants near by and a supermarket and shops. A delicious bakery opposite. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

The rooms are well-equipped and fairly spacious (for this neighbourhood at least). If you want a larger room you either need to spend more $ or be less central. This place is the sweet spot for cost, size, and location. Very helpful staff. Pretty quiet at night time. Located immediately above a train station, next door to a Westfield shopping centre, and in a neighbourhood that comes alive at nightime with hundreds of restaurants and bars to choose from.
