I stayed here for 3 nights over the Christmas break. The room was small, but modern. The location of the hotel is great and security is good. Breakfast was delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I were to come back to Pairs.

The most redeeming option that this hotel has in its favour is its location. There aren't any frills to be had here, the bathroom accessories are on the cheap side the lift belongs to a bygone era and you might just get two people in there with luggage if you inhale deeply before the slow ascend to your floor. Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Opera, and so is near Galeries Lafayette etc. Near to the metro if you arrive by Eurostar. We had a double room at the front of the hotel which was really quiet and it also had a little balcony with table and chairs. Everything was spotlessly clean and room was warm...

a classic, managing to keep up standards in a over time. Simply efficient, nice and helpful staff, impeccable premises. Location is of course perfect, decoration trendy. Breakfast is great. Nice little sauna in medieval cellar.

Clean, comfortable, practical and very well priced. Better value for money in Paris than one of the bigger chains of hotels. Office desk in the room is however not that big (in case you want to work in the room) but otherwise great. Good variety for a quick breakfast. Definitely staying there again.

Stayed in the lovely Hotel de Noailles for a couple of nights. This hotel is the quintessence of French flair. This is a very sophisticated place, with plenty of modern art. A museum in itself. This family owned business is a refreshing spot, so different from modern standardization of hotel chains. Location is perfect, a few steps away from Garnier...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
