Very helful staff all around, great breakfast team; nice quiet, polite! I have stayed at the hotel previously when on business in the area, this time I went with my teenage son, 16, on our yearly shopping spree :-) for a weekend stay. For this the loaction is perfect, all the essential shops are close to Champs Elysees where you...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 22 March 2017

I had just one night in Paris and chose the Napoleon. I found a charming boutique hotel with all the expected facilities, what I also found was a service team that really went the extra yards to make me feel welcome and to make every aspect of my stay a positive one. My room was lovely with rooftop views across...

We booked this hotel through our vacation club which only allowed for a classic room. One of our concerns when arriving before check in was the wait for a room, especially after traveling all night. To our delight, when we arrived, we were offered an upgrade any of which were available right away. We selected a beautiful, spacious suite with...

Wonderfully friendly staff, lovely appointed bedrooms and suites, great location for central Paris, breakfast team outstanding, efficient and quick. The concierge desk is very helpful and knowledgeable. It is really a hidden gem, has the feel of a large home rather than a hotel. best place to stay in Paris!

Like most travelers from the US, we arrived early the morning after departure. Our room was not available, but that was to be expected. After quickly negotiating an upgrade to an available suite, we were taken by the manager to our quarters and introduced to the spacious (500 sq.ft) and ample amenities. This is a boutique facility, and as such,...

We went in 2006 but this hotel is still so vivid in my memory, for very good reasons. * Location is the next street over that runs parallel to the Champs Elysee * It's by the Arch de Triumph * We had a roof top suite--amazing! * Eiffel Tower on the right & Arch de Triumph on the left, at...

My family and I visited the Napoleon in March and I cannot tell you how incredible an experience this was. We very rarely get to experience a 5 star hotel, but it blew us away. A hotel is located in the middle of Paris. Offers a variety of great restaurants in vicinity. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room were spacious but seem a bit outdated. Breakfast was a disapointment. Definitely needs update because food quality and selection are poor. Overall it is a nice hotel.

An old classic hotel, frequented by the likes of Hemingway, but has good facilities where it counts like bathrooms and the like. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Behind the history of the hotel, hides a love story.... The love story between a rich Russian businessman, Alexander Pavlovich Kliaguine, and a young french student who first met at a "literature salon" in 1928. It was love at first sight. In order to introduce her to Parisian "high society" at the time, he bought a hotel in the prestigious 8th arrondissement and gave it to her as a wedding present. Still today the hotel belongs to the Kliaguine family. Today, following a large renovation program, the hotel is proud to announce its 5th star. With its unique location, just a short walk away from the Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel Napoleon is one of the most legendary hotels of the city: a fine address to discover and rediscover. Our 52 rooms and 50 Suites are all designed in the Empire style with newly refurbished and modernized colors. A Parisian atmosphere still remains in the Hotel. The Napoleon includes also a Bar- Restaurant: the Bivouac Cafe, 8 meeting spaces and a fitness room. ... more   less
