Location is decent - close to shopping on Champs Elysees, metro and Arc de Triomphe. However, the average room is too small. The service is average. We had a suite that was really comfortable, but my nieces' room was too small for the price we were paying for it. All in all, decent hotel but dont expect too many amenities,...

We stayed at Hotel Napoleon from May 27 to May 30. It's a great location, close to the metro, Arc de Triomphe and Champes Elysees. It was a little frustrating during check in as the check in time is at 1pm and our room was not ready until 1:45pm. We sat and waited in the lobby and it wasn't until...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group, so can't speak to the value. The location is A+, just minutes to Arc de Triomphe and metro station. We had a room with a sitting area that could be closed off, so worked well for three people. Downside for us was the view of the back of the...

Good things: concierge (Carlos) and front desk staff very accommodating. They even changed our dollars at a very good rate. As for the hotel, it has an unbeatable location, but it seems that they have not invested a penny in the last decades, not the kind of place you expect when you pay $500 the night. The internet in the...

The hotel is still family owned which is very seldom in Paris these times. The service is very efficient but not too formal. Free internet in public areas but paid internet on the room. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Behind the history of the hotel, hides a love story.... The love story between a rich Russian businessman, Alexander Pavlovich Kliaguine, and a young french student who first met at a "literature salon" in 1928. It was love at first sight. In order to introduce her to Parisian "high society" at the time, he bought a hotel in the prestigious 8th arrondissement and gave it to her as a wedding present. Still today the hotel belongs to the Kliaguine family. Today, following a large renovation program, the hotel is proud to announce its 5th star. With its unique location, just a short walk away from the Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel Napoleon is one of the most legendary hotels of the city: a fine address to discover and rediscover. Our 52 rooms and 50 Suites are all designed in the Empire style with newly refurbished and modernized colors. A Parisian atmosphere still remains in the Hotel. The Napoleon includes also a Bar- Restaurant: the Bivouac Cafe, 8 meeting spaces and a fitness room. ... more   less
