After hunting high and low we realised that this hostel was actually cheap in paris and the room was actually not bad. Small but clean. Comfy bed and nice clean modern bathroom. Breakfast was only a roll and croissant but was included so not complaining. The wifi was good and location was near restaurants and bars...still a fair walk to...

So as above great value for money in central Paris, Montmartre is just beautiful from the Sacre Couer to the little winding streets full of bars and restaurants. The hostel itself is set across 6 floors, just 3 rooms per floor. We were on the top so there was a fair bit of walking to be done as the lift...

The hostel is in an ideal location, central in Montmartre and a stone's throw from bars, cafes, shops, and a buzzy neighbourhood, as well as the Moulin Rouge, and with a choice of metro stops close by. The hostel is clean but rooms are tiny and the lack of space puts you off spending any more time than absolutely essential...

I stayed at the Plug-Inn hostel for 2 nights in a 3-bed private room with two friends. We wanted somewhere central that wasn't too expensive, and that the hostel included breakfast was a massive bonus! The hostel is in a great location close to the Sacre Couer, lots of bars and restaurants and a few minutes walk to the metro....

All in all, this is a pretty good hostel! The location is brilliant; only a few hundred meters from the metro stop (Abbesses), around the corner from the Moulin Rouge and a nice walk to the Sacré Coeur. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are rather small. A friend and I were sharing a four bed...

The only bad thing is the beds are really noisy , everytime you make a move and both toilet and bathroom are extremely small. There are lockers in the lobby for...

Located in very beautiful and charming part of Paris. Welcome, service and atmosphere were nice but not enough place. I traveled with 5 girls an we had 1 room with toilette. It was very clean but so small for 6 of us. We couldn't place all of our package. Wi-fi connection was good and there are also few computers in...

We arrived late in the evening, after our trip on the Eurostar from London. The man at reception was really friendly. Our room was located on the second floor. First impressions of the staircases with funky wallpapers was good. You can see the building is old and a bit worn down, but that also adds to the Parisian charm! The...

We checked in at the plug inn for two nights. We had booked a private room for 3 girls. On their site it says the private rooms include television but that was not the case. We did not have a tv in our room. The rooms were very very small! It’s difficult for girls since we seem to travel with...

Very organised establishment with very friendly staff. Excellent location, but maybe a little to close to the Moulin Rouge district for the more sensitive traveler. Really great location for restaurants and really close to two metro stations.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
