Hotel was in a great location, 5 minute walk from the metro. Rooms were small but nice. Breakfast was great for the price. No robes in room as listed on website and amenities not fully refreshed each day.

I was at this particular hotel a number of years ago (date below is incorrect as 2013/14? was not available) when it was a Best Western and Mathilde was working at the front desk upon my arrival. She was extremely kind as I was trying to learn and speak French. She was also very helpful when it came to information...

Nice and clean room. We had a room on the 4th floor which had a nice view on the street. Mild complain is that not all amenities are fully replenished and the aircon is centrally managed so you cannot operate this in your room which makes the room a bit hot. Also it is not clear whether the evian bottle...

There are lots of great things about this hotel. Overall it's clean, the bed was comfy, lovely powerful shower and complimentary toiletries. The free wifi is sufficient (not the quickest), the reception staff always greet you as you come and go, and they willingly stored our bags when we arrived early and after we checked out. The location is decent...

Dear Chris B, Thank you so much, we appreciate your kind comment following your stay. Actually we have the air conditioning in the rooms but currently the outdoor temperature is not constantly warm enough to activate the AC system. We're eagerly waiting for summer season. We will check with our technician the TV, which has to have English channels. See...

We stayed at the Hotel Maxim Opera for 3 nights between the 7th- 10th April 2017. The hotel was beautifully presented (very chic) and although the bedroom was small, it was filled with high quality furniture and a super comfy bed. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a short 5-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (Cadet),...

Dear Emmalhartley1, Thank you for your detailed comment. Our position is, as you said, very central. The metro 7 from Cadet goes directly, for example, to the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pont des Arts, or, with a correspondence, to Orly airport. Another metro lines nearby (8 and 9) go also directly to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees and...

There are also lots of Brasseries , bars and Restaurants near. The rooms are small but very nice and in excellent conditions. The people from from the hotel...

The hotel was very good and the room as well. I requested a top floor room with a shower instead of a bath tub and got it. The only problem was that the shower did not work as it was supposed to, due to a water leak that ran out from the bathroom, to the room. The hotel staff gave...

We slept in this hotel in december and had a room with a view on the Sacre Coeur! The hotel is on walking distance of everything in a safe area. Parking is not around the corner but reasonable. With a stamp of the hotel you get a discount on the final ticket price of the garage. Staff is very friendly...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
