+ location is good, near metro stations, a lot of cafes and restos nearby. There is also a Monop very close to the hotel. There is a playground in front for those with children. Galeries La Fayette is a 15 min walk away and Gare du Nord station is also walking distance or 4 stops by bus. Room is homey...

Spent 3 nights here just prior to Xmas with our 4 y.o daughter. PROs - Extremely clean, warm, comfortable and friendly. Compact room size is to be expected within Paris, but we had booked a "family" room so may be slightly bigger than standard. Excellent wi-fi. Breakfast in the morning was adequate for 10 euro each with fresh croissant, bread,...

I am forever thankful to Hotel Montholon's staff, for their help. My friend and I arrived in Paris without a hotel reservation. We looked up hotel Montholon and saw the good reviews, so we went directly there. The receptionist told us that they might have one room available, and he let us see the room before checking in. The room...

Room was small but to be expected in Paris. Everything was clean however there was a small hole in the roof, taped up which I think is completely unacceptable - should not be letting out a room with any holes in walls or ceilings. The doors to the rooms bang and you can hear some noise from surrounding rooms as...

The hotel is really easy to find. By only 5 min walk from Gradunorte station. The hotel situated in where you can access to all Parisian Great Attraction. The nearby main Gradunorte station offer you wide range of train (metro, and train to another city) to many tourist attractions in and nearby Paris such as to Versailles or London. From...

We were very happy to find Hotel Montholon. It was very good value for money compared to several we have stayed in in Paris. Staff were very friendly and our room, though small (usual for Paris) was clean, comfortable and stylishly designed. Breakfast was very nice, including freshly cooked omelet and freshly squeezed orange juice (you squeeze it yourself!) Conveniently...

Rooms are clear, very comfortable beds and pillows, courteous and helpful staff, good breakfast with freshly squeezed juice. The only problem is the noisy street, rooms 22 and 24 look at the street, 26 is back side and quiet. The location is also very safe! (this is important these days for this area).

We stayed here for a few nights as a birthday treat and was very happy with this hotel, very modern and clean, and our room was very spacious with a bath which is hard to get in this city. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
