We stayed here as a family of four, having two rooms for 3 nights. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, with comfortable beds. The double glazed windows reduced noise levels enough and it was nice to have views of the small park. There was some lack of storage and hanging space but this wasn't really a problem. We had breakfast...

Stayed her on my first visit to Paris several years ago. The hotel is located in a good area, close to the metro and breakfast is included! The hotel is clean and the bathrooms are a good size. As all hotel rooms in Paris, the rooms aren't large but you aren't there to spend your time in your room, are...

Arrived early to the hotel 11am and to our surprise gave us our room right away. If your arriving by train, take a cab here. Was only 10euros and takes away the hassles of figuring out the Metro system. Our room was perfect, nice view of the park, bathroom was a nice size, and plenty of room. It was clean...

We stayed here for my 40th birthday in Paris. The location is brilliant, very close to Cadet metro station (2 mins walk), a few steps from a lovely Parisienne bar/cafe and a Starbucks. Approx 15 mins walk to Galleries Lafayette and about 25 min walk from the Louvre. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, the room was perfectly...

Both room and bathroom were reasonably sized and very clean which was important to us. The hotel has a great location - close to Gare De Nord and just 2 min away from Cadet subway station. It’s a nice walk down to Opera and Gallerie Lafayette. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly with lots of restaurants and markets nearby. The...

This Hotel is within easy walking distance of the Gare du Nord. It's also near good bus routes. The area is typical French, plenty of eateries nearby, as well as boulangerie, and a mini Monoprix. Easy to pick up a sandwich before a day's sightseeing. Hotel room was not large, but adequate. Bed comfortable, water hot and shower nice. Windows...

Basic hotel but very nice location. This is the key feature for this price, since you can walk almost everywhere you want in the sense of sightseeings. Paid internet and parking must be solved and included int he price.

Hotel Williams We stayed here for 3 nights before heading to Belgium for a conference. Usually thorough in reviewing hotels I stay in, I was told to hurry by a friend because hotels in Paris were filling fast over the US Thanksgiving holiday. I booked this hotel after a quick glancé, and THEN read the reviews here in more detail....

Stayed here as a couple in March 2011... The location is great! It's in the Opera district as the name suggests, about a block away from the metro. The rooms are decent, albeit small. In our room, the bed (which I believe was a full, but may have been bigger) took up most of the room. The room also had...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
