What a find - my wife selected this hotel on a hunch, she liked the photos she found online. The staff here were super helpful, the hotel is in a fantastic location, and the general atmosphere of the hotel made it perfect. Five minutes from the Metro, a lazy walk to bars and bistros - we will definitely be staying...

Just back from 3 nights in Hotel Josephine. Staff were fantastic, helpful, friendly, polite and all spoke English for us struggling Scots. The room was small as expected but perfectly formed. The beds were super comfy and clean. The room had everything we needed and as it is quite chilly there at the moment the windowsill served us well as...

I was a little worried about booking here but this turned out to be a great option if your on a tight budget. If you want a no frills, clean, inexpensive hotel in Paris this is a great option. The room was very small, especially the bathroom, but clean. No problems with hot water or water pressure in the bath....

The staff is full of friendly people, available 24/7. The rooms are cosy, stylish and clean. The bathroom was big and not "hotel-all-white-and-grey-plastic", with a big shower and nicely decorated. And the bed was very confy.

On our trip to Paris in July, 2016, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in to the Hotel Josephine. Convenient to the Metro, Montmarte, Moulin Rouge, and Sacre Cor. A breakfast was included each morning and happy hour with absinthe in the evening. Rooms are small but adequate. Lift is extremely small.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
