I really liked this hotel, the staff were friendly and funny (a great plus) and it is in a beautiful location, we walked pretty much everywhere. About 25 minutes to the louvre or Notre dame. The hotel itself was quite nice, our room was clean and had a great shower. I would definitely stay here again!!

This Hotel is in the 9th arrondissement. Location is superb to visit the city, a metro station is 2mins by walk and many restaurants, groceries and bars nearby. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The receptionist kindly showed us everything on the map and told us all the infos we needed. The dimentions of the rooms were exact for us,... More

A pleasant clean and functional hotel. good location with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and food outlets close by. The hotel is quite basic and the décor a little dated, but as we were just using the hotel for an overnight stay it was perfect for our needs. all the staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. we arrived early... Very nice hotel with kind staff. Rooms are small but comfortable. If you want to slepp well, ask for a room in a carm side (not Martyrs street, it's very noisy!) Location is perfect - very close to Opera (15 min by foot), metro (3 min), shops

The hotel is in a very good location, supermarket, bars and plenty of eateries to chose from. The hotel is in need of some decoration to bring it back up to scratch, my room was good enough for what we wanted and paid for. The breakfast was very good value compared to prices outside. The staff was more than helpful... More

The hotel's location is good, with two Métro stations nearby, a choice of eating places, and a short walk to Montmartre and Sacré Coeur. However, it is let down by several failings. It claims to be 3* rated, but even allowing for the higher cost of hotels in a capital city it does not provide facilities or value at 3*... More

And that is all that can be said about it. Lobby nice, staff nice but at the very lower end of 3 star Hate to see what 2 star is like. The room we were in was not like the rooms shown on the net. The shower hand held, no bracket for standing under spray, shelving almost fallen down and... More

My room in this hotel was truly terrible. Tiny ( to be expected in Paris). Grundgy and very dated. One of the ceiling panels was left open by maintenance which may explain finding the most horrific looking spider on the wall. The only saving grace of this hotel was the friendly and helpful front desk staff and the close proximity... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
