This hotel has all we need for our 3 nights in Paris. First: It's located in Montparnasse, very very close to metro station, only 1 minute walking to Edgar Quinet station. Since my husband and I use the metro a lot, the location is just perfect. Moreover, on saturday morning it has a community market!!! Amazing! You can get anything...

We stayed in a standard double room this week in Paris & it was great. The room is small but fit our bags neatly with enough room to move around. It was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It is centrally located and has all that you would need close by. Laundromat next door, small...

If you are familiar with hotel rooms in Paris, indeed most of Europe, you will not be too surprised. The room is small but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is off the main street in Montparnasse but still very well located to all shops restaurants and Metro stations. The room keys always remain at...

One minute away from Edgar Quinet metro station and within 5 minutes of 3-4 other stations. Very good location, two supermarkets open till 9pm Mon-Sat and till 1pm on Sunday on the same...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.

“Most rooms seemed to have elevator access, but not room 10, which we needed for its three beds. Stairs were tolerable.”
RAH_Sr, 5 Apr 2016 | Read review
“I think you need to ask for a larger room, away from the street noise. But I am sure it will cost more.”
D8648QXlisam, 7 Apr 2015 | Read review
“If you get to your room and realise it is right next to the elevator possibly go back to reception and get another room. I talked to the people in this kind of room and they were saying it was not so great :( I think there are 5 floors of rooms and just 1 room on each floor is directly next top the elevator.”
jamesmrichardson, 14 Aug 2014 | Read review
“Get a room that faces the street as this will allow you to see the local life.”
Keec, 2 Aug 2014 | Read review
“Higher floors have slightly less street noise. The little lift is rather noisy opening and closing. I had two rooms on the street side and I sleep lightly but as the windows are double glazed noise wasn't a problem at all.”
