Stayed 4 nights as visiting Paris. basic hotel but this doesn't count as you came to visit the surroundings and not to stay in. Close for the bus and tram stops. 45 minutes away from the heart of France but worth it to do the trip on foot. breakfast is available at extra cost and need to let them know...

The hotel provided everything I needed: A small clean room with attached bath with shower, also clean. I slept with the window open, the street was not too noisy. I took my breakfast in the nice Café at the next corner. RER, Metro and a small park were nearby. The hotel cost 55€/day because I booked in advance per internet...

I stayed at Hotel Beaunier in end of may\early june (I actually left right now). the rooms were frankly cheap and not worth the high prices. some lamps din't hold in the wall, the doors din't close well, the bathroom was cramped, room accommodations were inexistent (there were no glasses for water, for example) and if anyone with difficulty walking...

not a good idea for a business trip... The walls are paper-thin, and I had to hear my neighbors all night long. Not even with earplugs was I able to fall asleep. Horrible, frustrating experience. Also - I was there for two days only, did not need my sheets to be changed and so put the "do not disturb" sign...

Dear Customer unknown. We are very upset that you had to endure the noise from a nearby room. Unfortunately, we are regularly faced with customers who behave in their room as they would on the street in the afternoon !! Knowing this and knowing that a priori you stay two nights, why did not you do anything to stop it...

Location - even though far out, the metro and bus stop is very convenient to get to, especially with luggage. There are numerous supermarkets and take-away restaurants close to the hotel. However, staff was very rude and unhelpful. Luggage storage not very safe - kept in the corner of the foyer, while viewable from the street through the window and...

Visited Friday to Tuesday (two guys), celebrating my partners birthday as he had never been to Paris. We really enjoyed our stay, very helpful and friendly staff who didn't mind our attempts at speaking French and complimented us on our efforts :) . Great location just around the corner from Porte d'Orleans metro line 4, about 10 mins into the...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
