Having last visited this hotel some 25 years previously this was a visit to celebrate an anniversary. Glad to report that the hotel was everything we expected and more. Staff in reception, bar and breakfast room were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a superior double room which was excellent, very clean and well maintained, with nice extra touches such...

Stayed here for 3 nights and would throughly recommend it both for the location and the hotel itself. On arrival to departure we were well looked after and any problems we had were resolved, all staff, reception to housekeeping we found friendly and helpful. Our room was a junior suite no 338 with large double and sofa settee for our...

Great little hotel off Rue Saint-Didier just far enough away from the main attractions of Champs Elysee or the Modern Art Gallery to be nice and quiet but close enough to walk to these attractions and more if needed. Hotel was quiet and clean and the staff were wonderfully polite and helpful with excellent English (thankfully since my French isn't...

Set in a quiet side street in tricadero area,10 mins from Eiffel Tower, and 10 mins from the arc de triumph. We stayed at the Garden Elysee Hotel for four nights. The hotel is centrally located between the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. You can easily walk to both. It is also very close to several metro stations. Although located centrally, it is on a quiet street and has a beautiful garden area in the back to relaxin. The...

This hotel will suit most traveler needs when going to Paris. It is basic, but friendly and will be sufficient for most needs. The location is great, close to the Eiffel Tower and within walking distance to central Paris hotspots.

Location location location!! 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, 4 minute walk to the number "9" train or a 2 minute walk to the "6" train Metropolitan subway. The easiest metro system that will get you anywhere you want to go. The staff was extremely accommodating and took their time to explain the city and gave good recommendations in...

The Garden Elysee Hotel is a nice but basic hotel with all required comfort for a few nights. The rooms are not very recent, but clean and well equipped. Breakfast was ok but not spectacular (pity that some canned fruits were used in the fruit salad). It must be said that the hotel is relatively pricy for what you get...

The Garden Elysee Hotel was walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Paris Aquarium, many restaurants and a grocery store. The staff was very friendly. Room service was quick. Rooms had great amenities and thick fluffy towels. Shower pressure was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. Buffet breakfast was a bit spendy at 22€. I would definitely recommend!

Hotel Garden Elysee was a booking of our travel agent. Although the website looked nice we were uncertain what it would be like. It was a wonderful surprise. It's a quiet spot right off a bustling street but it seems miles away from it all. There are shops and restaurants one or two blocks away ready to serve excellent meals. We...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
