As soon as we arrived from a long 10 day trip, we realized we made the right choice. This ticked all the boxes we were looking for. Central location within walking distance of plenty of great restaurants, shops, and the Eiffel Tower. Also just a couple minutes drive from everything else you would want to see in Paris. The building...

We stayed at the Garden Elysee 4 nights recently and loved this hotel! It reminded us of a "boutique-like" hotel in the US. It could not be in a handier location for getting around - close to a couple of metros and in walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee and Arc de Triomphe. Many nice restaurants are near-by...

This small hotel sits on a quiet side street about a 15 minute walk to either the Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We arrived early not expecting our room to be ready but they were just starting to clean it, so we were offered a free breakfast while we waited. We ate...

I stayed for six nights at this hotel, and thought it great. It's located on a quintessentially narrow French street a short walk from the Eiffel Tower, the Seine and the Arc de Triomphe. Breakfast is available, but expensive. However, there are lots of eating venues within a few minutes walk. The room was good, and the bed comfortable. The...

Many thanks for your review! It is great to see that you enjoyed our privileged location right in between the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower as well as the quality of your room. We take good note of your comment regarding shower curtain in order to improve that point. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

The first thing I would like to point out is the great location of the hotel - situated aside from the busy Avenue Kléber in a cosy cortyard with a garden, it makes you think of a quiet countryside, that is however a short walk from some of the Paris's key places, such as l'Arc de Tromphe, Trocadéro and les...

Thank you! We read carefully every review we received and we were happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. Many thanks for your compliments about our staff : it is much appreciated. Air conditioning is a reverse system from heating to AC. As a consequence we turn it to AC when weather gets warmer : it was...

First off, it is hard to have a better location - essentially equidistant between the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. The Metro stations were an easy walk as were the Tower and Arc. The hotel was nice, the rooms were small, but comfortable. The staff, however, were very helpful. Upon our arrival, they showed us options for rooms...

We booked this hotel mainly for the location, which is perfect. It sits in a quiet street 15min walk to the Eiffel Tower and a 10min walk to the Arc De Triumphe. There is a very good supermarket next door and the street is a quiet traditional street. Aside from the location there is nothing really to shout about. A...

Hotel is in good location, easy to get to prime places however I would not rate this hotel as 4*. Quiet location as it is a bit away from the main streets. The rooms are very basic but sufficient for a few nights. I liked the breakfast, small but enough selection. Would stay here again for 2 nights, if more than that I probably go with something that has a gym, nicer bar area, etc.

We picked this hotel because it was close to the Metro and a lovely walk to the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel was just off the Avenue Kleber, which is a very noisy, busy thoroughfare. Despite this, the courtyard was tranquil and calm and the rooms were a good size, very clean and had a good standard of toiletries etc....

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
