I must have had the worst ground floor room (no 30); faulty air con and if you had the window open, noise from the street would keep you awake. The air con was essential as it was stifling hot - I got two hours sleep. Breakfast was served with a surly manner and I was so pleased to exit this...

It is a great location if you are looking for central Paris. 20 mins from la Defense and 3 mins walk to the Champs Elysees and metro access. The staff is very friendly but they need to pay more attention to feedback: noisy neighbours and unclean bathrooms do deserve to be taken into account and a commercial gesture was never...

Really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very luxurios with plenty of charm. Not huge rooms but very comfortable nonetheless. Excellent manager who was very attentive and gave a personal service.Would definitly stay there again, I also had a young child which was very welcomed.

We stayed in Chateaubriand Hotel between 26 and 30 of Jan 2011. The pros: - The hotel is beautifully decorated. The common areas as well as the rooms are very stylish. - It is located 100 m. away from Champs Elysse in a quite street. You are in the heart of fashionable Paris without being on the Avenue. - The...

Spent a Monday night at the Chateaubriand for business. I had room 30 - make sure you don't. It's right next to tyhe main entrance and when I was in the room around 7pm, I could hear a lot of the reception area noise. Luckily when I returned from dinner at 11pm, it was quiet and I had a good...

The parking that you can "book" has only 4 spots which they do not tell you. It is not unlikely that you get stuck in a room behind reception - literally!! This is a disaster. Noisy, no privacy. Prepare to wake up at 7:30am EVERYDAY! Make sure you do not get "Room 20".

Recently returned from Paris where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. We were a bit apprenhensive about booking this hotel based on the varied tripadvisor reviews, but personally, we could not fault overall. Excellent location, just off the Champs Elysees and within easy walking of major sites such as the Arc de Triomphe as well as shopping on the Boulevard Hausmann....

The first thing to say is, do not pay attention to reviews of the hotel prior to 2008. The hotel has been under new management for a couple of years and has undergone extensive renovations. The bedrooms are tastfully decorated and are very clean and comfortable, although the shower in the ensuite could be better. The hotel is 300 yds...

I stayed at the Chateaubriand for business on the Mondaynight. I was late and there was only one room available. It was small but reasonable andvery hot. I switched on the airco and left for my dinner. When I came back the room was boiling hot and the airco was not working. I asked the receptionist and he checked and...
