Situated around the corner from Madeleine, it's perfectly walkable to the Seine, St Germaine, The Louvre & Musee d'Orsay. We found the discounted room rate excellent for an Hotel pretty much bang in the centre of Paris. The neighbourhood felt safe and welcoming with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, although it is an expensive area of Paris. The hotel...

We arrived at 7am and had paid for early check-in knowing that having come off 24+ hours of travel we would be exhausted. I'm sorry to say that the surly woman on the reception desk told us that they could hold our luggage but that our room would not be ready til 2pm so go away and come back then....

I only spent one night in this hotel but I'm looking forward to going back. The hotel is cosy and welcoming and the receptionist and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean with a flat screen tv!. The ensuite bathroom was large and very clean. The only negative point about this hotel is that...

This hotel is located right near the opera house. Metro station is a 2 min. walk. The rooms are very small but like Manhatten, that's what you're gonna get. We were there for 3 nights and the first night they put us in a smoking room and the smell was really bad. We requested a non smoking room the next...

Good Location, easy to get from CDG Airport and rail stations. Room 309 was very narrow but very clean. 2 Twin Beds together. Bed, pillows and sheets very comfortable. Noise was not a factor, very quiet in the halls and outside. Bathroom very serviceable. Repair to shower was done very quickly, Great to have the mini fridge and safe in...

This hotel is in a great location and is very close to Metro station Madeline... Also in walking distance is Champs Elysees and Galaries Lafayette! The rooms are quite small which is common throughout Europe but it was clean and comfortable. It is so difficult to find anything that is reasonably priced in Paris but I would say this was...

Just returned from this Best Western hotel in Paris. I was disappointed as I expected somewhat more Best Western standards as in the US. In short the location was great, staff was fairly friendly for Europe but the room was very disappointingly small and the beds were very hard. I had to use extra blankets as cushions and never got...

My wife & I spent 3 nights at the Best Western Folkestone Opera from August 21st through 24th, 2008. This was our 3rd trip to Paris together, however our first stay at the Folkestone Opera. Overall, we were very pleased with the Hotel. The Hotel represents itself as a 3 star and we would agree (I would even go as...

Faultless. We stayed for one night only and I could just have taken up residence! Our room (103) was massive - I've stayed in Paris hotel rooms smaller than the bed! Furniture was a mix of dark wood and painted reproduction right down to the mini bar, the ceiling - even the bathroom - had lovely dark beams and, if...
