This hotel location was great, Near train and bus stops, near shuttle to and from airport, down the street from the Opéra Garnier , in walking distance from the Louvre Museum. Great Location, My husband and I used Paris Transit system to the max, riding the bus and train all over Paris. The hotel staff was great, every question we...

We stayed here early September 09 and were so impressed by the service we received. On the reception desk you will find a woman called 'Aurore' who is very knowledgeable about the surrounds and speaks perfect english. She can recommend where to eat, what to do, and can help with anything. She even helped us arrange the next leg of...

Location is fantastic, just beside the Opera in a very quiet street. Metro is close. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. We were very happy indeed and would gladly recommend this hotel.

Don't accept a rear room as our room looked into a small light shaft which turned day into night. There was virtually no daylight - thus the low score. Ensure that you get a front room and all will be well. The hotel was very good, comfortable bed, clean, friendly and good breakfast.

I booked this hotel on some random hotel website, last minute the day of my arrival in Paris. They gave us room 300, supposedly 100s are the best rooms on the floors. Anyway, it was tres magnifique. Very clean, very stylish and in the middle of everything! The bed was much more comfortable than anything I ever laid on!!! The...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Location was great - we got the Roissybus from Charles de Gaulle Airport and it takes you directly to Rue Scribe, beside Opera, a couple of hundred yards from the Hotel. Staff very welcoming and informative and had good English and willing to use it. Room and ensuite very clean and comfortable. Heating and cooling...

Close to Opera in a friendly area with restaurants, cafes and shops. In a quiet small rue. Global best western style with small hall, small rooms, narrow, dark passages to rooms, creaking floors. Breakfast is simple but OK. For a short business trip it is good but not for couples, romance, charme or authenticity.

My second stay at BW L'Horset Opera in Paris was with equal enjoyment. My adult daughter accompanied me and we shared a twin room which could have been larger. However, it was equipped with comfortable beds, excellent AC and a shower/bath combination. Better ventilation in the bathroom, appropriate hair dryer, cooked breakfast and larger size room would have given this...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of June. I booked our standard room throught the Best Western website. We were very satisfied with our stay there and would recommend it because it's a well-run hotel with helpful staff, nice updated decor, and good location. We arrived on early Sunday morning after the red-eye over from...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
