"The fine print: Please note that the hotel is going under renovation work until January 2016." Not really true as the renovation was going on in the last week of March. The workers were hanging in front of our window also making noise over our heads. That is not ok for 80eur/night. I've made the booking 2 months before hand...

Stayed one night whilst visiting Paris to watch the Half-Marathon. Very pleasant welcome and this is a very clean hotel with a buffet style breakfast. Very good night's sleep after an afternoon in central Paris and driving down from Calais. Excellent parking nearby in secure underground parking (parking Stalingrad). Nearby Metro, Stalingrad, easily accessible. This area did have problems in...

Comfortable in all senses of the word from the warm welcome after a brutal day of travel through to the well appointed room and the friendliness of the staff. True value for money. This will certainly be my first choice when I am in Paris again.

We stayed for a couple of nights and we chose it thanks to its proximity to the metro station (Stalingrad). The hotel looks recently renovated. Our room was sufficiently big for three persons, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. Towels and linen were not worn out (something rare to find in budget hotels). The...

We booked less than a week in advance because we spontaneously decided to go to a couple of matches at the Euros, and of course there was limited availability around. But I was somewhat pleasantly surprised, because it is a perfectly alright budget hotel. Room was clean enough, private bathroom with shower/WC. We were asked about smoking/non-smoking, and we said...

It's what you hope for from a budget hotel. It was clean, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. It was in a good location, very close to Stalingrad metro, that helped us crisscross Paris with ease. A 'Good value' hotel.

If you go to Paris and need just a place with comfortable beds, hot shower, French breakfast (I have never eaten better croissants!) and good wifi, I can recommend this hotel. I have been here with my family and all of us were satisfied with the service, clean room and bathroom. Plus, very important - I really appreciate English-speaking staff...

This hotel is definitely not luxury, but if you're going to Paris with the intention of being out exploring all day and coming home just to shower and sleep, I could not recommend this hotel more. It's just a few blocks from the Stalingrad metro stop (super close and couldn't be more convenient), its surrounded by little patissiers and meat...

Note to males planning a romantic stay in Paris: if your girl is one of those "mint-on-the-pillow" types, then Hotel Reims is not for you. On the other hand, if you can tolerate a little squalor and want a relatively inexpensive, reasonably located hotel, then Reims works. We had returned to Paris after ten years, having stayed the last time...

Positives: Clean, comfortable, quiet, great value for money. Not far from the Gare du Nord (though with luggage the walk might seem long). Close to the metro. Sacre Coeur visible in the distance. Free wifi. Negatives: In one of the least romantic areas of Paris, populated largely by poor immigrants. Close to the tracks and lots of ugly buildings. The...
