A beautiful hotel with charm in a great part of town.
Particularly great for us as a family of five: At the top there is a suite with five beds - according to my research, an absolute rarity in Paris, almost every room has a maximum of four people.
The room is typical of older Parisian hotels: heavy furniture, embroidered wallpaper, old cupboards. Of course, you have to climb into the bathtub to take a shower, the bathroom floor is cold and some of the windows are stuck. But: the beds are comfortable, there are generous towels and the breakfast (only 5 euros per person!) is downright lavish by Parisian standards. The room was perfect for a four-day city trip, we felt extremely comfortable.
And the Saint Germain district is incredibly pretty, one interesting shop next to the other, one charming brasserie next to the next.

3 nights in this lovely hotel. Perfectly located for exploring with plenty of shops, cafes and dining options within walking distance. Metro 2 minutes away and the hop on and off buses all stop within a 10 minutes walk. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. A very basic breakfast available at a reasonable price of €5 if added on in advance of stay.

Had a great stay! This is the epitome of a boutique. Very cozy, minimal, but excellent staff who really take pride in their upkeep of the hotel. Our room was large by Paris standards and we were able to partition it off so our son has his own private space. It decided to rain one day during our trip so we stayed indoors and watched movies and the WiFi was excellent to do so.
Location is outstanding if you want to be in the thick of things. We did notice the sound of chairs and tables being moved in the or morning from the restaurant next door but it wasn’t too distracting. We did get the discounted breakfast but only ate there once. The staff was far better than the food but it may suit some, just not our taste.

Room Tip: Get the largest room your budget will allow if you value space. I’d also skip the breakfast.

Very nice hotel in a great section of Paris. Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was helpful when we needed information and helping set up transportation to the airport. Breakfast was very inexpensive, but selection was minimal. Ate their only once during our stay since there are so many other places to try. We had 2 rooms both had hairdryers but the one in my room was very hard to use. It was attached to the wall and the hose limited the way you could use it. There was also no outlet in my bathroom. Outlet next to my bed was located underneath the nightstand. Was hard to see unless you actually got down on the ground and looked. To turn the lights on in your room you need to insert your key into the wall slot. It was not mentioned when we checked in but luckily, I had heard about something similar from reading a German hotel review. Elevator is very small but serves the purpose.

We checked in after a week's cruise on the Seine and it was wonderful that they were able to let us in to our room well before check-in time which gave us time to settle and then go out and see more of Paris. The room was quite spacious and very clean, looking to the courtyard area. Only negative was they are a bit "skimpy" on the toiletries. Thankfully we had our own soap and shampoo. There were small bottles of shower gel & small soaps for the sink. You may want to consider your own wash cloth as the disposable ones provided were a bit rough. Very close to the Metro stop which we were most appreciative of. Breakfast was adequate although did not vary from day to day. The person staffing the dining area was very nice and efficient. Front desk staff was pleasant although not very out going- more reserved than other places we have stayed. We would certainly consider staying here again if we made a return trip to Paris.

We spent 7 nights in a Superior room the last week of October. It was pretty much just as expected with no unpleasant surprises. We were on the 3rd floor with windows facing into the interior courtyard(really more like a built in skylight) We used the tiny elevator to go up to the room and always the stairs to come down. We booked direct w/ the hotel and took the 5euro pp breakfast option. It was a great value, given that just a cup of coffee anywhere outside could be 3 euros. The breakfast options were adequate and didn't change much but certainly enough and the fresh baguette bread and pastries were always welcome. We got a peak into some of the standard rooms & they looked quite small. We were glad to have the superior room if only for the extra space it provided for our clothes etc. There isn't a proper closet in the room, just an antique wardrobe so that was not nearly enough for a week's worth of cool weather clothing for 2. My only other negative would be the lighting, which was poorly positioned, so I had to prop a mirror by the window in the mornings to try & do my makeup.
For our first stay in Paris, I couldn't have been happier with the location. We used the metro every day and the Odeon station is literally less than a block away. But we also walked for miles and we could easily reach the Right Bank, the Louvre, the D'Orsay, and all of St. Germain by foot. Within 3-4 blocks of the hotel there are 3 movie theatres, several bakeries, 100's of restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, wine boutiques, etc. We had some great meals, some so-so and a couple of take- aways when we were hungry in the late afternoon( when most kitchens are closed) The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when needed and everything was very tidy & clean.

A lovely comfortable hotel right in the heart of Paris, ideal for seeing all the sights with easy access to buses and the metro. The hotel is on a direct RER stop from Paris CDG airport.
Our room was well equipped, even with tea and coffee facilities. The bath in our superior room was a real added bonus and a very welcome relaxation tool after a long day visiting all the sights.
Breakfast is recommended and we thought a bargain at 12 euros each per day.
Al in all a lovely hotel in a great situation, and we will stay there again.

This hotel was beautiful and wonderful to stay at! I arrived late at night and was promptly helped with check in, and they also have an evelator which was helpful for getting luggage to the room. The bedroom was in Parisian classic style with exposed ceiling beams and beautiful fabric lining the wall. The inset old closet was such a fun touch! The bathroom was redone and very clean. In addition, the air conditioning worked very well in my room.
Hotel Left Bank stored my luggage later the next day and all of my interactions with staff were very positive. I would definitely come back!

My husband and I spent a week here in a deluxe room with a courtyard view. The hotel overall is lovely and in an outstanding location, near the Odeon Metro stop, several bus lines, countless cafes and shops, and within walking distance of many major sights. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortably decorated with updated bathroom. We appreciated the electric kettle and reasonably priced mini bar. One of our favorite parts of our experience was going to breakfast each morning. The breakfast room is beautiful with a good selection of foods and excellent strong coffee. The servers always remembered our room number and coffee preferences and were so kind. All the staff were wonderful - professional and obviously taking pride in running this excellent boutique hotel. Our courtyard room probably didn't get as much light as street-view rooms but it was very peaceful and quiet, an oasis in this busy part of the city. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.

Last November, on the advice of a friend, I had the pleasure of staying at the Left Bank Hotel. The welcome from Fanny, the manager of the establishment, was warm and very gracious. In fact all the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Christophe, at reception, is always very helpful. My room was really pretty and quiet, not to mention impeccable bedding and a bathroom with a bathtub. The breakfasts are generous and very reasonable. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Paris, near the Seine, Boulevard Saint-Germain, museums, etc. I was delighted with my stay and very happy in this hotel. I can not wait to return to,

Dear Madam,
We are pleased to confirm that there is a closet in all our standard rooms. There are shelves and hanging possibilities as well.
Looking forward to welcoming you to the hotel Left Bank to make your stay the most enjoyable as possible.
Best regards,
Antoine

Most likely not. We requested a King bed and it was more like a double bed. So, a single bed is going to be like a twin bed, if that ! The rooms and beds in this hotel are super small. Also, don’t leave anything of value here. We accidentally left a bag in our room after we checked out, realized we had left it, called them up 20 mins later and they claim they didn’t have it which is absolutely false.
