We stayed in a room 5127 that had no outlets in the bathroom, where the mirror was.If I want to dry my hair there was no mirror in the tight bedroom, therefore I had to either pay the hotel 65 euros or go locally,or not do my hair, not good options. The location was great, but make sure your room can accommodate your needs.

This was our honeymoon trip - when we pulled up and checked in, we were greeted warmly and were made to feel very special. The concierge was just the same - helpful, knowledgeable people, ready to spent time to make sure we had what we needed. When we opened the door to our room, the beautiful furniture, drapes, balcony and...

Fantastic three nights at the Intercontinental Le Grand in Paris. Service and rooms are great. We loved the spacious executive room, well worth the extra price and it could connect to a second room for our children. Bed comfort is top! The location is magnificent for exploring the city, almost everything is in walkable distance. Many shops and restaurants are...

I'd been to the Café de la Paix, which belongs to the hotel, but I hadn't stayed at the hotel yet. I finally did. Our room was small (this is Paris) but very cosy and nicely decorated with a great city view. Friendly staff. The best thing though is brekfast, served at the Café de la Paix: heaven. The location,...

We stayed 3 nights at the Intercontinental recently. We have stayed there twice in the past. It is a lovely hotel and is a well-managed property. It is a large hotel yet we experienced personal service from staff at the desk and the concierge. The housekeeping was excellent and prompt. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet at...

We stayed at Le Grand hotel over a weekend. The hotel is located next to the opera. There is a lot of shopping and restaurant in the area. You can easily work to Louvre, Notre Dame and other great area in Paris. Both the metro and RER trains stops next to the hotel. The checkin process was really fast, and...

Stayed there before, but every time I stay at this hotel I get this very same feeling of warmth and comfort. The whole team is professional and friendly, the food is amazing and the cafe overlooking the Opera you cannot just have enough sitting there. I do recommend this Hotel for all travelers.

Quality hotel. Lots of staff to help you with your needs. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to store clothes. Comfy bed and well appointed bathrooms. Suggestion... although rooms facing the street have gorgeous views, interior rooms are more quite. Also, if you can afford the club level, do it. Fantastic little amenity. Small but decent breakfast selection...

An excellent stay with very good service. The location makes it good for the opera House and our balcony was directly facing the Opera house. Breakfast was superb at Cafe De a Paix and lovely international options like Oriental and japanese breakfast. Room was lovely and bathroom clean

Stayed in this hotel early April for 2 nights on a business trip. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. It is the biggest hotel in Paris I assume. It dates for more then a century and thus has its own charm. Rooms are large and contains all amenities of an IH. 0 noise. It is directly next to the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
