I loved everything about this hotel except the 77 steps I had to climb to get to our forth floor room! The room itself was too small for four people but the bathroom was a comfortable size. We had two in the double bed, one on a mattress on a small frame on the floor, and one in a twin...

A wonderfully romantic spot in the St Germain of Paris. Easy to get to, and well located on a side street, this was recommended to us by Parisian friends, many years ago. The building is one of the older ones in Paris, but the boutique hotel has charm, and is a great spot for a romantic weekend.

Yes, this hotel is old. The building has been here forever but there are very few modern amenities. There are only two electric outlets and they're both taken by hotel TV and fan. There is no air conditioning and no lifts. We initially had a fifth floor room but anyone over 50 won't enjoy that climb. The only other room...

Yes the building is old and that is why it is so charming and rich of history . The stairs are a wonderfull very old wood work protected by french administration of culture. Yes the room you had have no aircon but it is the only one. All the others have AC. This room have no aircon because we are...

I loved the hotel , because of nearness to Notre Dame & train station (RER and metro) , cute breakfast (croissant, marmelade, coffe, juice and butter), parisian bohemian look, near to st germain quarter w young artist galleries and athmospheric french restaurant w a lot oy young (also french) people hanging out on the street in the night. My sister & I had a wonderful stay. We loved that we were so close to the vibrancy of the Latin Quarter with all its historical churches and buildings, cafes & night life . Also that it's an easy walk to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsee, Notre Dame and so close metro & RER stations. Our room was small but comfortable...

We loved the hotel for its gorgeous, fourth floor terrace off our room, friendly staff, the scrumptious Parisian breakfast, and the charm of such a historic inn. Don't book here because it's fancy and perfect and modern. Book because it's one of a kind and beautiful and close to everything the left bank has to offer.

First up, I love this place. Built over 500 years back, a hotel since around 1900 and still reminds you of that history. Located in the heart of Paris, this is a gooden. Now, reading some reviews and comments would confuse anyone, but let's be real. Yes, the stairs can be a challenge and they are installing a small lift...

This is a hotel in an old walk up with a lot of character. Everything is very well maintained but small per the age of the building. The stairs, the hallways, the rooms, the bathroom are all petite. If you're a person of 275lb/125Kg or larger forget about it, you won't fit. I'm 3m tall and 250lbs and some sections...

I love this hotel, have stayed here several times with my friends. It's nice restaurants and bars in the area. It is also close to public transport, but it's so nice to walk from the hotel over Ile de la Cite (with Notre Damm) or just explore Saint-Germain-des-Pres, so you might not use the metro at all. The hotel is...

We were given one of the rooms in the highest floors, so climbing up there with luggage was a very bad starting point. Luckily we were only travelling for a weekend, but if someone is carrying a pair of suitcases, then must not ask for a top floor. The room was small, even it was OK. It was recently renewed,...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
