Rooms are small, but clean and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable. The elevator stops between floors so there are always some stairs, so not appropriate if stairs are a problem. Lovely friendly staff. Just off Blvd Saint Michel on a tiny walking street. Historically interesting building, was said to be the home of the... More

A quaint little hotel in a very touristed area near St. Michel. The hotel building appears to be very old and with huge potential; unfortunately, in what appears to be a recent make-over, the place has a cheap taste and feeling - ultra-modern decor in the rooms that just doesn't do justice to the building; cheap carpeting; the place just... Great location - Notre Dame, Odeon, Louvre, restaurants, bars, café..Easy in and out. Makes Paris look easy to accomplish. Took care of us thru extended check out. Near to the Saint-Martin station. However, breakfast can be avoided. Much better deal at the cafes

We booked this hotel based on the good reviews and location. We arrived Friday evening with the Eurostar in Gare du Nord and got to the hotel easily via metro line 4 to station Saint Michel. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
