Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris,
Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but
the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it
houses the main shopping mall, which nestles
underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and
international restaurants coupled with beautiful
churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to
it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and

I think it was both high and low so hence the middle rating.
Very friendly at arrival and departure, rude when accusing me of not having told them at what time I needed breakfast. I am not sure how they can expect first time guest to know their rules when not informed verbally o

We tacked on one day of a longer trip to Europe in order to see Paris for the first time and wanted a location that was close to the Louvre. This fit the bill perfectly. We had purchased entrance tickets for 9 am and were no more than five minutes away from the main entrance. It

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
This cute hotel was great for our family of 4. Yes it was small but what isn’t in France?! We were out site seeing all day so we only needed a comfortable place to sleep and shower. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, the bathrooms were small but modern and they

Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Thank you so much for your nice comment. It is always a great pleasure to read this kind of message. Our rooms are not big but they are in the Parisian standards and it is difficult to find very large rooms in the middle of Paris (for a reasonable price of course). However, as you said, the rooms are comfortable and we try to make sure that our guests will find everything they need in it. The soap and body lotion are organic products and I am glad you liked the smell of it (we do like it too !). Our location is great : we are in the middle of Paris, it is easy to go everywhere by walk or by bus or metro but we are in a quiet little street. Please thank your son for us and I do hope you will all come back to see us.

Myself and friends stayed here for a few nights. It is really well located beside the Louvre & the Seine. The staff were lovely. And our room was very comfortable and clean. It was small obviously cos it’s Paris but well worth a visit.

Madam, Thank you very much for your comment. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. The location of the Relais du Louvre is great : in the middle of Paris, walking distance to many touristy places, cafés and restaurant, near metro and bus stops but is a quiet street. We hope we will have the chance to welcome you again.

I am considering which room to book. I am not sure which one you book for the superior room to have patio access, not just patio view? Thank you
Does the hotel have a bar? restaurant?
I am afraid not. All rooms have a minibar with soft drinks, snacks but also nice white, red and rosé wines as well as champagne. We do offer a room service in the evening for diner. As you imagine, since we are located right in the middle of the city, there are many beautiful restaurants and bars very close by. See you soon at the Relais du Louvre Kind regards Sophie Aulnette General Manager

Not a question, but oh my goodness- this review entitled 'Casual sophstication...' must be the best review I have ever read about a hotel. I was deciding between two places and this review has convinced me. Wow!
Thank you! I hope you will like it too!

We would be travelling from the airport (CDG) to the hotel around 9.00pm on a Sunday night in August. If we take the RER do we change at Chatelet and then should we take the metro to Pont Neuf or Louvre-Tivoli and then walk to the hotel? Is it safe to do consider this option at this hour of night? Our other option is to take a taxi which would be easier. Can you please advise the approximate cost of a taxi from the airport (CDG) to Relais du Louvre at approximately 9PM. Thanks.
Dear Sir, Dear Madam, From the CDG airport to the hotel you will have to take the RER B and stop at the station "Les Halles". Then you can either walk to the hotel (about 8 minutes) or take the metro line 1, direction "La Défense" and stop at the station "Louvre Rivoli" (2 minutes by walk from the hotel). It is safe to take the metro at 9pm. However, there can be pick pockets in the metro (especially in the RER from the airport to the station Les Halles) so you will have to be carefull with your belongings. A taxi from the airport to the hotel is 55 euros.
